Q:   What all courses are offered by LPU?
A: 

Lovely Professional University (LPU University) offers over 300 degree, Diploma and Certificate programmes to aspirants at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. It offers BTech, MBA, BSc, BBA, B.A., B.Arch, BDes, MTech, LL.B. and various other courses to students. LPU admission 2023 to most of the courses is entrance-based. LPU NEST 2023 is the official entrance and Scholarship Exam conducted by the university. Apart from LPU NEST the university accepts several other national-level entrance exams, such as JEE Main, CLAT, CAT, NATA, etc. So prepare well for the entrance test. Do keep an eye on LPU NEST pattern, LPU NEST exam dates, and go through the LPU NEST result to check the latest trend. Over the past few years, LPU has been ranked by the top-notch ranking bodies under several streams, including Management and Engineering. In 2023, LPU was ranked 23 among the top universities of the country by Times Higher Education. The college offers several courses to students at the UG and PG levels. The college has collaborated with various organisations to offer courses to students. It is noticed that these collaborations have benefitted the students in many ways like now the students can attend guest lectures and can take part in various educational workshops.

Q:   How can I get admission in LPU for BTech?
A: 

LPU admission to BTech course is based on LPUNEST or CUET score. Apart from this, candidates apply for BTech CSE Software Product Engineering need to pass KQ test followed by a PI round. Additionally, candidates need to pass Class 12 in relevant subjects to apply for BTech course. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates need to pay a fee to confirm their seat. The total fee for LPU BTech course ranges between INR 4.5 lakh and INR 16 lakh. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee.

Q:   Can I take admission in LPU BTech without LPUNEST?
A: 

LPU BTech admissions are available based on valid entrance exam scores. Candidates are required to secure a minimum aggregate in Class 12 along with securing valid scores in the accepted entrance exams such as JEE Main or LPUNEST. Candidates have an option to opt for any national level entrance exam apart from the aforementioned. However, final admission will be granted based on the qualification of the selection rounds.

Q:   What is the last date to apply for Lovely Professional University admission?
A: 

The registrations for the 2025 session are going on in LPU. You can register yourself on an early basis. The admission process is completely online. The last date to apply for admission was 15th January 2025. LPU offers various courses like BTech, MBA, BSc, MSc, BA, BBA, etc.

Q:   Does LPU accepts JEE Main or CUET for BTech admission?
A:

LPU is good but expensive as compared to opportunity or knowledge.
Placements: LPU placement services are good, as there are many big companies that come and give placement opportunities, such as Capgemini, TCS, Cognizant, etc. Talking about the highest package, it is above 50 LPA. 85% of students get their offer letter before the last semester.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of LPU is phenomenal, there is everything that a student needs for their education, starting from a great library to good quality of practical labs in each field. They have great professors who give you guidance whenever you need. LPU also has a great campus where you can get many opportunities to learn and grow.
Faculty: Teachers have good knowledge of their field. They provide guidance in their respective field, but sometimes when they are not in the mood, they don't give any attention. Some teachers are not even good in their respective field, have an ego, and on. The curriculum is relevant, like they teach you everything to make you industry-ready, but you have to work on your own. Semester exams are sometimes very tough, and sometimes medium, but never easy.
Other: Other information, like they have a great sports coach for different fields, like every field. If you like sports, they provide a cultural event. They organised various tech events like gaming, hackathons, coding competitions, and many more.

Average college with good marketing.
Placements: In my course, the average package is around 3 LPA. Some of the Top Recruiting companies are HighRadius with a package of 6-8 LPA. This year, around 50% students got placed. Whereas in the previous year, around 80-90 % students got placed. Maybe due to AI and market changes. The highest package was around 10 LPA in Increff, and the lowest is around 2.5 LPA in root analysis. Some of the Top Roles offered in my course (B.Tech Biotechnology) are Business Analyst and Data Analyst. Some students get selected for sales roles.
Infrastructure: Our facilities are average. Wi-Fi is available for Computer lab work and works fine. Labs are okay with average equipment and facilities, don't expect big equipment and materials for higher-level research. Classrooms are also okay with not-so-good benches and other facilities. There is a high scope of improvement. The library is great with great facilities and a number of books. Hostels are okay as well. Food is also average, like what you can expect from a mess.
Faculty: Teaching quality is okay, not very good. Some teachers are knowledgeable and some are not. But no teacher is great at teaching students, except 1 or 2 if you are lucky to get one. The course curriculum is relevant, at least better than that of other private universities. Semester exams are difficult and not very easy to pass. The passing percentage is 40% overall. Most of the work has to be done by students if they want to get a good CGPA or gain knowledge.
Other: Events on the campus happen often, but are not worth the time, and most of us don't get time to attend or enjoy the events. The campus crowd is very much. Students get good scholarships, which is why many students join this university. There are some extracurricular activities like dance, music, etc, that the university provides, but students have to join and make time for that besides their studies.

For agriculture, it is good.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. For agriculture course, Tata Rallis, ITC, Nath biogenesis, Syngenta, Wipro, etc., were recruiting companies. Some of them were hired for internships, some for jobs, and some companies offered jobs after internships to some students. I wanted to pursue a masters's in agriculture entomology but currently doing a job. It also offered internships at Syngenta. I cannot exactly recall the stipend but it was less than Rs 15,000 per month. Students had analyzed the effect of weedicides on weeds. ITC hired students for content making and procurement.
Infrastructure: Usually, there were all types of subject-related books available at library. There were 2 libraries in each department, and one central library for all campus students. In classroom, there was a projector, whiteboards, and in few classes, there were window and AC. Wi-Fi was all over the campus. In hostel, I share a room with three other students. Room was good and large. We had fans and study tables for everyone. Air-coolers were also available in the room, and hot water facility was also available.
Faculty: Faculty members were really nice at the university. They were very helpful and very informative. They provided all the help that was needed, providing materials, recommending books, and solving your problems anytime. Exams occur per semester, with one mid-term every semester. Mid-terms were MCQ-based while finals were both MCQ and long-answer type. B.Sc. agriculture contained 8 semesters with approximately 12 subjects per semester, while the last two semesters were all about practical and project works.

The overall experience is great, campus is good, and the faculty are helpful.
Placements: Placement is good for some courses but not for most of them. Mainly for CSE and MBA, placements are good. For all those courses, placement is okay with good companies, but for Science courses, there are not many opportunities, almost nothing at all. Still, overall good as per other courses.
Infrastructure: It is well-equipped and good. The mess is also good. All the facilities are available. Wi-Fi is provided in the whole campus, library, labs, computers, good classrooms. Hostel is good with stores, canteen, and the mess is also average. Overall, it is good and had a lot of fun.
Faculty: All the teachers are very helpful, but there is always room for improvement, not that difficult. Some courses are not really necessary but still are included, and also the timetable for classes is very hectic. The curriculum could have been better.

Its value for money college.
Placements: My brother and I also graduated from Lovely Professional University, and we both got placements. Their placement rates were very high, and top companies came. Their average placement package was also good, it was around 5 to 6 LPA, and companies like Google, Microsoft give over 40+ Lacs to students.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was good, and the safety of students was top notch and I prefer not to take mess because the quality of food was not my favourite, so you can eat whatever you want, as there were many food corners and canteens available. You can check your information on their own app.
Faculty: Teachers were very good and they have a lot of experience, and they guide students in study, and their main focus is on real world problems and not on theory and paperwork. Exam patterns were easy, and the level of examination was moderate, not too low, not too high, but they built your concept brick by brick.
Other: I personally say that it was a good University and if you have it there you would not guilt.

Really good infrastructure at LPU.
Placements: Nearly LPU College's strength is 10,000 students. Approximately 80% students are placed in 2025, and still, companies are coming to place. The remaining 20% of students also placed. I think, actually, LPU is very good for placements, everyone is placed compulsorily.
Infrastructure: In Lovely Professional University, the infrastructure is good, and there are Wi-Fi labs. Classrooms and the library are also good in Lovely Professional University, full Wi-Fi facilities are available, and also good teaching, and one more, sports is one of the favourite activities at LPU.
Faculty: In Lovely Professional University, exams are divided into three parts, continuous assessment, mid-term, and end-term. Also, practice exams are totally 100 marks, out of 100 marks, 40 marks are pass, totally MCQs with negative marking, 60 MCQs, each question is 1 mark.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering for B.Tech because at Lovely Professional University, CSE is a demand course, and placements are good for CSE at Lovely Professional University.

Q:   How much is the fee for LPU BBA in AI and ML?

The total tuition fees for the Lovely Professional University BBA in AIML course is INR 6 lakh. LPU fee structure can include other fee components as well. Lovely Professional University offers various courses in UG and PG level such as BTech, MBA, LLB, BCA, BDes etc. The University offers admission to these courses on the basic eligibility criteria with candidates securing minimum aggregate in Class 12 or graduation. Candidates must secure valid scores in accepted exams, suggested by the University such as CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ JEE Main/ CUET-UG/ CLAT/ UCEED or LPUNEST etc.

Q:   What is the date to release LPU NEST 2026 results?
A: 

The result of the LPU NEST 2026 exam are released within 48 hours after the exam.  Candidates receive the test results directly in their portal. The candidates must enter their login credentials to check the LPU NEST 2026 Result. The result will not be sent to the candidates by post. 

Q:   When can I download the LPU NEST 2026 admit card?
A: 

Candidates can download their LPU NEST 2026 admit card after booking the exam slots. The admit card will be available on the official website. The admit card is a mandatory document to be taken for the exam. If candidates choose to book their LPU NEST slot for 2026 on their own, their LPU NEST 2026 admit card will be generated immediately. However, if Lovely Professional University books the slot for the candidates, the LPU NEST hall ticket 2026 will be generated 48 hours after the application form is received. However, all applications received before the start date of the slot booking will be processed only when the Online Slot Management is activated.

Q:   What is the LPU NEST exam date for the test centre-based test?
A: 

The schedule of the LPU NEST 2026 exam is from December 2025 to September 2026. The application form for this schedule will be available from December 2025.  If the seats remain vacant after the current round, further rounds of admission will be conducted. The dates for the next round of admission will be announced by the institute on the official website.

Q:   How much is the BDes fee at LPU?
A: 

The fee for LPU BDes is INR 9.60 Lacs for four-years. The fee is calculated based on the semester fee. Candidates after completion of the selection round, have to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. The semester fee for BDes is INR 1.20 lakh. Apart from course fee, aspirants also have to pay a registration fee in the start for admission.

Q:   What is the expected LPU cutoff 2025 for MBA?
A: 

Lovely Professional University accepts LPUNEST/ LPUNEST/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ NMAT scores for admission to the MBA course. During the LPU CAT cutoff 2024, the overall CAT percentile was 70 for the General All India category candidates. LPU CAT percentile remain constant from the last three years. So, considering the past three years cutoff percentile, LPU CAT 2025 percentile is also expected to ranged between 70 to 75 for General category. 

 

Q:   How do I get a seat at LPU?
A: 

Candidates who have missed the entrance exams must not worry. These candidates can apply again in the next years. Students must follow the below mentioned application process if applying through LPUNEST:

1: Register onto LPU ADMIT with basic details.

2: Appear for the LPUNEST exam.

3: After the declaration of the result, students must select a course for admission.

4: Take part in the counselling session for any guidance on scholarship opportunities (if applicable) and seat allotment.

5: Perform well in the interview round.

6: Fill out the complete admission form and deposit an initial fee of INR 10,000.

7: Submit all the necessary documents and pay the remaining fee.

Q:   When will the UCEED 2025 exam be conducted?
A: 

IIT Bombay conducted the UCEED 2025 exam on January 19, 2025 (9 am – 12 noon). The exam had two mandatory parts: the computer-based Part A and the offline Part B. The UCEED 2025 admission portal was uceed.iitb.ac.in, which hosted all key updates including the information brochure, eligibility criteria, syllabus, candidate portal, and downloadable resources like previous years' question papers and answer keys.
