No, distance/correspondence course is recognised by AICTE. Hence, there cannot be college that claims to have recognition for their distance engineering course.

According to me, B.Sc (General) is a better option.

Eligibility would be completion of Diploma or 12th. If you have either then proceed to seek admission.
