Absolutely amazing college. Placement and facilities are awesome.

Placements: The MBA placement drive for the class of 2023 concluded with a 97% placement rate. Top recruiting sectors included consulting, business analytics, general management, and more. Major recruiters like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Deloitte, and Zoho visited the campus. The college received 662 placement offers, with the highest package being 70 LPA and the average package around 16 LPA.

Infrastructure: The academy has separate hostels for boys and girls, equipped with solar water heating systems, kitchens, a gym complex, and a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. Sports facilities include a football field, tennis and volleyball courts, a cricket ground, and badminton courts. The library has a vast collection of books, journals, magazines, and online databases. Design labs, media labs, computer labs, and research centers are also available, along with studios for student projects, which help students develop skills and work on company-related projects.

Faculty: D. J. Academy has highly qualified faculty members, most with over 6 years of academic experience and degrees from reputed institutions. Extracurricular activities are strongly encouraged. Placements: There is a placement cell in our college, which is supported by a good bunch of companies to explore and choose the best college. Students were assisted in such a way, where the right talent match with a right career path. Many in-house activities and sessions are conducted, which helped us in interviews.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and the facilities are good and well-maintained. It has a perfect and serene learning environment. The college is good when it comes to cleanliness. Food served in the canteen is also good. Sports activities were very good, which provided us with a perfect space for recreation and relaxation.

Faculty: The intellectual capital gained during the course was top-notch. Faculty members were very helpful and supportive. The course curriculum was useful, which covered all the necessary topics, which is required to enter the world of business. Especially, the human resource stream was very lively, that we enjoyed and benefitted from every session.

Other: We never had a teaching session, It was always an interactive session where the students come prepared for the class. At times we have a healthy and effective argument with the faculties about a particular topic and it would go on for a week or month. Faculties would understand the students mood so precisely, based on that they switch from academics to activities. No body till date had stepped out the class room with an empty mind. The transformation that happens at DJ Academy is so beautiful and am sure every one would have gone through it. DJ Academy is an excellent place to do an MBA, No wonder they call themselves the DJ Academy for Managerial Excellence.

I am satisfied with faculty members but not with placements.

Placements: Placements were average in our college. All students got placed but companies hire only for sales roles. This institution did not provide career opportunities in human resources, finance, and operations. Many local companies from Coimbatore visited our college for placements. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA provided by a company called FACE. The rest of the companies offered salary packages around 2.4 LPA - 4.5 LPA. Many companies offered a salary package in the range of 2.4 LPA - 3 LPA. The average salary package offered in this institution was 3 LPA as of 2020. I got placed with a salary package of 3 LPA in sales where my take-home salary is Rs.18,000 per month.

Infrastructure: It was a green campus with nice environment. The institution had a computer lab but only a few computers worked. The campus was Wi-Fi-enabled. This institution had library facilities that had good collections of books, journals, and articles. This institution tied up with the Karpagam Medical Hospital for medical purposes. Mess food was provided to both hostellers and day scholars. The quality of the food served was average. We had a basketball ground and a football ground. There were many poisonous snakes on campus. Overall, compared to other B-schools in Coimbatore, the infrastructure was good in this college.

Faculty: Our faculty members were highly qualified and had industrial experience. They were highly supportive and helpful. Specialisations provided by this institution were operations, human resource, finance, and marketing. This institution also provided dual specialisation where marketing was mandatory for all students. This institution also provided extra courses like banking, etc. They were two internal exams and one model exam. Students must maintain 90% of attendance to appear for internal exams.

Other: I opted for this course as I was interested in this course. This course only had marketing, finance, human resources, and operations. Moreover, marketing was compulsory. I regret joining here with very poor placements.

The college is decent for independent learning.

Placements: I am an alumnus of DJ Academy of Managerial Excellence, graduated in 2012. According to me, the placements were just average for my batch. As in campus placements were just limited with 3-4 companies in the fray. As far as I remember, there were more pooled campus placements rather than in-house. I am one of them who got through in the pooled campus placements in Ernst & Young, Bangalore. There were just 2 people who got placed from my college, including me. The percentage of students who got placed in our college is, I would say, 50-60% with decent packages. Shoppers Stop, Apollo Tyres, and BNP Paribas were a few notable ones who had visited the campus. Placement cells were available. However, according to me, it was not up to the mark. Overall, placements wise, I would rate our college 5 out of 10, simply based on the experience of my batch.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. The environment for learning was fantastic. Hostel rooms were decent. It was just that we had some issues with the quality of food, but that was eventually sorted out in due course. The library, labs, classrooms, and other facilities were decent. Overall, I would rate the college 7 out of 10 in terms of infrastructure and facilities.

Faculty: I got industry exposure on my own prior to joining MBA, and my preference was learning with practicality. This is something that is missing even in the best colleges. Management, I presume, is more practical than theory. Industrial exposure provided in our institution was minimum. Faculty wise, we never had any problem as they were well-qualified and imparted a great share of knowledge. PPT presentations were used along with frequent activities for teaching. However, more needs to be done to couple theory knowledge with practical case studies as it will give more exposure to the students for being industry-ready.

Other: Events and fests were conducted. Guest lectures were held frequently.
