Placements are not good here.
Placements: Around 25% of students got placed. The salary package offered is Rs. 15000 per month, with companies like MRF and Sinon, etc. visiting for placements. Placement opportunities are average. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Majority of students didn’t get placed, except a few. The issue from department end.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the course and department is below average. There is no Wi-Fi facility, and classrooms are not clean. Bathrooms are also not clean. The library is good, and many books are available to study. The library is clean, neat and peaceful.
Faculty: A few teachers are not good.. Course curriculum is not good, and there are no good skills taught to the students. Semester exams are very tough because the pass percentage is low. This is due to the curriculum not being effective. The average percentage of passed students is low.
Other: I chose this course because the future depends on electricity and electronics, offering a better future. Course curriculum focuses more on practical activities.

College with good placements and is surrounded with good nature around.
Placements: More than 70% of the students got placement. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA. The average salary package offered is 9 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included MRF, Malabar Cements, Saint Gobain, and KINFRA. More than 50% of the students received internship opportunities from companies like BPL, Samsung, and Power Electrical. Top roles offered included electrical engineer, system embedded engineer, and solar engineer.
Infrastructure: Our college has free Wi-Fi all over the campus, provided by the college authorities. Classrooms are well-maintained, and teaching methods are modern, incorporating new technology and ideas. The library space is very large, with a long hallway filled with plenty of books and ample space. There is also an open gym and a big ground.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and good. They are well-qualified, well-trained, experienced, knowledgeable, and always ready to help, clearing any doubts. In terms of teaching quality, they are excellent. They take their time, try to understand each student and follow an effective teaching process. But, Actually, I am from 2021 batch , and in my personal opinion, the topics and curriculum could be improved. We need to explore and study the latest developments. Semester exams are not difficult for me, they are quite simple. If we study, we can easily pass and achieve good grades.
Other: I mainly chose this course because of its good publicity, the training activities conducted in previous years, and high placement percentage. I would say that improvements are needed. Currently, I am studying under the 2021 revision scheme, but industry technology is advancing quickly, and I need to study the latest developments. Curriculum needs to be updated with the latest knowledge. Several events take place in college, and festivals are celebrated, including Onam, Vishu, Pongal, Christmas, and many more. The campus is always crowded, giving it a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. There are several scholarship programs available, such as SC/ST scholarships, merit-cum-means scholarships, EWS scholarships, and more. Extracurricular activities include sports, arts, NCC, NSS, and Red Cross.

Our college is okay for the course.
Placements: In our college, only 70 students are allotted in a department. Only 5-6% of students get placed with an average salary package of 4 LPA. companies who provide placements provide a salary package ranging from 1 LPA - 14 LPA. Top recruiting companies are MRF and Schneider Electric. Students get offers as analog digital and design engineers.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi, a library, a workshop, a lab, a computer lab, an IT lab, etc. Old labs are in good maintenance. A hostel facility is available. It provides food. There are no medical facilities. Sports and games are held every semester. A canteen is available with good food at low cost for students.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Every staff has different teaching qualities. Only some of the polytechnic courses have more than five departments so this is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams in this college are very difficult. Around 75% of students pass.

Well satisfied with the good fee structure, placements, and college atmosphere.
Placements: Almost 70% of students got placement last year. The highest package of annual income is 9 lakh, and the lowest is 1.5 lakh per annum. MRF, SAINT GOBIN, MALABAR CEMENTS, KINFRA are the well-reputed companies here for placement. Almost 90% of the students got internships, mainly in our district, such as MALABAR CEMENT, GAYATHRI RICE MILL, and I went to Indsil Power Plant. From bottom to top, we got offers.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have properly speed Wi-Fi. The classroom is neat and clean, with projectors and good efficient teaching methods. The college has a good library, and the building is large with good space. The availability of books is also good. Hostel facilities are average, and the food is also average. The canteen is good with good quality food. There is a medical room (but I have never seen it opened). They offer good support for sports and athletics.
Faculty: The teachers are very good and helpful to us. They are well-qualified and experienced staff members. The teaching method is also good and efficient. Yes, the course curriculum is top-tier and good. The semester exams are actually simple for me; they are not that tough. Out of 75 marks, we need 30 marks to pass, so 30% is the pass mark.
Other:
I mainly chose this course for job opportunities, the well-reputed history, and the good environment of the college. My course is Electrical and Electronic Engineering, which has high scope abroad, and I like it. We are studying the 2021 revision, so I need the updated version, and the technology should be improved. Most of the events in the college are awesome, well-organized, and on a large scale. Celebrations also include DJ nights, and the campus is always crowded, giving the real campus vibe. Since the college is in the city, all facilities, travel, and everything are good. The campus surroundings are clean, neat, and safe. There are several scholarship programs available, including SC/ST scholarships, EWS scholarships, and merit-cum-means scholarships.

Government Polytechnic College is the best college in the Palakkad district, Kerala.
Placements: I think the placement rate is around 40%. The highest salary is 20,000 per month, and the lowest salary is 15,000 per month for freshers. Top recruiters include L&T, Wipro, Mahindra, ITI, and others. About 50% of students go for internships. In my course, the roles include surveyor and site engineer.
Infrastructure: I don't know much about the hostel facilities because I was not in the hostel. There are two hostels on the campus, one for boys and one for girls. Both have good infrastructure and entertainment setups. Each hostel has a separate mess. Hostel fees are relatively low.
Faculty: It is a government college, so the faculty members are highly qualified and good teachers. The curriculum and structure are good enough, and it follows an application-level system, which is beneficial. Additionally, many industrial visits and projects help in applying the knowledge gained.
Other: I want to become a civil engineer, which is why I chose this course. It is the best college in our district, so I decided to choose it. The course is good, and you should learn more about the industry. The college also hosts art fests, sports days, game days, and exhibitions.

Affordable feels with decent academics and facilities.
Placements: More than 70% of the students were placed today in the placement activity. The highest package was 14 Lacs per annum and the lowest package was 2 Lacs per annum. The top recruiting companies are BEML, Malabar Cements, Gayatri Price Mill, MRF. 50% of the students got internships, and the companies are Malabar Cements, Economy Steel, Star Lining, and Indsyl Hydroelectric Plant. Actually, the roles depend upon the company, and it is mixed up. The internship is almost about 40 days, and based on that, we have done several posts that include a wide variety of work from low-level to high-level.
Infrastructure: There is free Wi-Fi available in the facility, and the lab includes a wide variety of well-equipped labs with the latest technology. In addition to the labs, there is a robotics lab for our study. The classrooms are good, as well as very well-equipped with technology. Actually, there is a hostel, and it's a big building with good facilities. Our canteen is good, the food is good, and we have a 5-day chart for food. There is a medical room, and we have a good ground, so sports activities are ongoing.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful. They are very kind people, well-qualified, and recruited from government staff with lots of experience. Yes, they are very knowledgeable, and they have a clear-cut syllabus vision. They are eligible for the lecture. The teaching quality is very good, and they are capable of teaching in a proper way. Actually, the course curriculum matches the latest technology and the industry too. You are studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering with all the latest things and technology. From my position, the semester exam is not that tough.
Other: The main reason behind choosing the course is the previous year's placement record, and it is very popular in my district. It is good and has a good campus. In my opinion, I would try to say that we need more and more practical activities rather than theory study. We need to explore more practical things. There are several events happening in our college, such as Christmas arts, sports, and Onam, and it's always crowded with a completely pure vibe. The campus surroundings are good, neat, and clean, surrounded by woods and a good garden. Several types of scholarships are available: EWS Scholarship, Merit Cum Means Scholarship.
