Life in Guru Shree Shanti Vijai Jain College for Women.

Placements: Bachelor of Commerce and accounting and finance are mostly demanded courses in our college. Deloitte, Infosys, and Fipro are some of the mainly demanded companies that offer internships. The average salary offered is Rs 15,000 per month in the course for the recruited package.

Infrastructure: Around 40,000 plus books are available in the library. Junk foods are strictly prohibited inside campus and good quality, healthy food is provided in canteen. There are two canteens in our college. There is a Wi-Fi facility inside the lab, and there is also a medical room.

Faculty: Staff are very friendly and helpful towards students. They tend to teach students the subjects thoroughly. Teachers are very experienced in their jobs. Pass percentage is 90%. Lecturers are very helpful with the course curriculum for students.

Other: Onam, Pongal, Navaratri, and many more festivals are celebrated in college. SC scholarships and many more private scholarships are provided in college. Weekly, once there will be a physical education hour for every class.

Our college provides a good education, but they must have more extra-curricular activities.

Placements: The salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000 per month-Rs. 15,000 per month. Students got internships in companies like Ashok Leyland, Hyundai, Toyota, Club Mahindra, etc. Roles offered for this course as an employee under a normal team with an average salary.

Infrastructure: There were library and lab facilities for students. We didn't have any Wi-Fi connection. Even hostel facility is not provided by college. The food served in the canteen is good. Medical facilities are available for emergency purpose. We don't have many facilities in our department, and I would like to suggest for better infrastructure.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful. Teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum is relevant, but I think that we should know more about the course practically than through books so students can understand easily about the concepts.
