Good for learning but not so much extra curriculum .
Placements: No one was placed from my course, but some students were placed from hotel management and other skill courses. I don't know about the highest and lowest packages, but I know the companies that came include Tata and some local small companies. DAV College offers B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, hotel management, BCA, and also provides master's courses.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, but infrastructure is average. Labs are good; all instruments and chemicals are present for practicals. I wasn't a hosteller, so I don't know exactly, but I heard from my friends that hostel facilities are good and mess food was average.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers of DAV College are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They also complete the syllabus and provide information about important topics, questions, and give tips on how to pass the exams. In DAV College, the pass percentage is approximately 85 to 90%.

I am highly satisfied with this college.
Placements: There are no top companies that visit our college for recruitment. Internships are also not offered in our course, and there are no decent salary packages. This college is not developed, so companies are not interested in placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not big. It has different sectors for every subject. It also has laboratories for chemistry and biology. A computer lab is available for IT students, and it is very spacious. The hostel facilities are good. The food quality is better. They provide meals three times a day.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-educated and qualified. They all have master's degrees. The course curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are conducted by Himachal Pradesh University. Exams have a high level of difficulty. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: I wanted to become a software engineer, so I chose this course.

Diverse Opportunities: A decent college often attracts companies from a variety of industries such as IT, finance, manufacturing, consulting, and more. This allows students with different interests to find roles suited to their skills. Average Packages: The average placement packages are usually in the range of 4-8 LPA, which is competitive for fresh graduates. However, a few top-performing students may secure higher packages. Placement Support: The placement cell is generally supportive, organizing training sessions, mock interviews, and resume-building workshops to prepare students for interviews.
Infrastructure: I recently stayed at this hostel, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. Here are the main issues I encountered:
Cleanliness: The rooms and bathrooms were poorly maintained, with visible dirt and unpleasant odors. It was clear that cleaning was not a priority. Facilities: Many of the promised amenities were either broken or unavailable. The Wi-Fi was consistent, and there was no hot water, making basic hygiene a challenge. Staff Behavior: The staff was unresponsive and unhelpful. Requests for assistance were either ignored or met with rudeness. Noise Levels: The hostel lacked any noise control. Cloud music and conversations continued late into the night, making it impossible to sleep. Value for Money: Considering the condition of the hostel, the rates were reasonably high. It felt like a rip-off compared to other options in the area.
Faculty: It has been an incredibly enriching experience. They possess a deep knowledge of the subject matter and a passion for teaching that is truly inspiring. What sets apart is [his/her/their] ability to break down complex concepts into simple, understandable ideas. The lectures are always well-structured, interactive, and engaging, making even challenging topics enjoyable to learn. Additionally, [he/she/they] is always approachable and willing to provide extra help outside of class hours. Whether it? Good for the beginners to start their college life.
Placements: Almost 50 to 60% of the students get placement as beginners in small to large companies. Companies visit here to offer internships. Placement packages range from 3-8 LPA. Top recruiters are Jio, Airtel, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well and good. The campus has Wi-Fi and CCTV coverage for security. There is a lab for each and every subject. Classrooms are well furnished and they have good strength of students. The library has all the books which are relevant to the course. Medical and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are good and they have vast knowledge & experience about their subjects, which make the students industry ready. It helps in making the future of students bright. Semester exams are easy to pass. One should have deep knowledge about the topics.

All the facilities available in the campus are great but have issue with slow internet speed.
Placements: My seniors who passed out from here got placements in companies like Java, Microsoft, Google etc. Many of the students have great packages upto 15 lacks. The placement package is staring from 8 lacs. MCM DAV college have internship with top IIT and colleges in the world.
Infrastructure: The college have many facilities like canteen, sports ground, Wi-Fi service in campus and hostels. The food quality of mess is very good, the food is always healthy and tasty. Sports activities are organized by the college every month. There is medical facilities also available in the campus.
Faculty: Around 70% of the college staff have more than 15 years teaching experience and teaching quality of all the teachers are really amazing. They solve the doubt of students related to study as well as they solve the issues of students having in their personal lives.
Other: The college campus is very big. There is a very beautiful garden in the college. This college also gives the scholarships to the students.

Placements: In our batch, around 30% of students get placements at this college. There were decent numbers of placement opportunities at this college. The average package offered for our course was 3-7 LPA. The college organizes various placement training on the campus. Almost 45% of students get internships at our college.
Infrastructure: For our course, the infrastructure at this college was average. Our course department has facilities like Wi-Fi, library, seminar halls, big classrooms, etc. The quality of all these facilities was good enough. Hostel facilities were also available for the students. Sports activities were conducted at our college.
