Review of My College (Ramjas).
Placements: I opted for B.A. Honours English, which is an easy subject. Through the court exam, I got the college. For every caste, the cutoff may vary. Placements are also good; we got placements from the college. The top 3 students from the 3rd year are selected and interviewed to get an internship or placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel of the college is very good. It is separated for boys and girls. The mess is the same for both. Library facilities are provided. Rooms, mess, and classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi is provided. Some indoor sports are available to refresh and cool the mind.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are much qualified, which is good for students. All the time, students ask their problems, and they tell it in a nice way. The teachers are very friendly. The semester exams' level is moderate, which students can easily do.
Other: The campus is very good. The canteen is excellent. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the staff is very polite and calm.

B.Sc. (Hons.) in Chemistry - Batch of 2027

I am very satisfied with my college.
Placements: Not many placements are in Chemistry Honours. Like at the graduation level, we usually prefer going for further studies. Many companies do come for placements, and the average package offered is 8 LPA, which is normal at the B.Sc. level. Lab assistants are also there at this level.
Infrastructure: Facilities at the college are good. There are Wi-Fi facilities, a girls' common area, and a library, which is very good. The library is all digital and has many books. Classrooms are good and have well-maintained benches. A canteen and sports complex are there, and we have a common area for indoor games. The canteen is well-maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are highly educated and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good. Almost all professors are nice in teaching, but one or two professors cannot deliver the knowledge to us. The syllabus is relevant, and labs are there on a regular basis. Semester exams are held, and the pass percentage is nearly 100%.
Other: I like Chemistry very much, so I chose Chemistry Honours, and to be honest, I am very satisfied with my college curriculum. But one professor is poor in teaching. Except that, everything is good. The annual fest, Mosaic, is held in February every year. Campus life is quite good, and many scholarships are there for single-child or economically weaker background, or physically disabled students. The campus is lush green and beautiful.

In short, college is nice. The crowd is nice. If you want placements, then course is not worthy.
Placements: Placements in this particular course are not up to mark and in order to get placement, either you have to do a Masters or appear for placements on your own. No prominent companies come for placements. If I were to show the percentage of students getting placement, it would be 10%.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is well maintained; classes don't have AC but conditioning is good; labs are in good condition, not perfect condition; and staff is really supportive and helpful. Hostels are available for both girls and boys and they have proper security and water facilities. Hostels are provided on the basis of the merits of students.
Faculty: The faculty is good and the curriculum is mainly based on PCM class twelve. Exams are not that difficult if you study for at least one month. Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable, and the quality of their teaching is good. Semester exams are easy at a level of 12th grade PCM, not that difficult.
Other: In order to appear for government exams, I chose this course. There are many areas for improvement. Cultural and annual events were nicely organized last year.

Vibrant Campus Life with Supportive Faculty, Diverse Events, but Room for Improvement in Crowd.
Placements: The student with 95 percentage and above are placed in the college. There is no special average package for my course and specific placement companies. Top roles offered in my course is usually in research or teaching field or for further pursuing Ph.D.
Infrastructure: Ramjas College boasts a two-floor library with an extensive collection of books and resources with AC. The college provides spacious classrooms equipped with projectors, especially in the newer buildings. Laboratories are well-maintained, supporting various Science departments with the necessary experiential equipment.
Faculty: Supportive and approachable faculty. The professors are willing to assist with both academic and personal concerns. The course curriculum is totally relevant and helps them boost their career in respective field. The semester exams are not quite tough. The PYQs are whole enough for passing them.
Other: The campus life is die for. The fest, the departmental fest, society fests— all are worth the hype. Coming to the crowd, I personally don't like the crowd that much; it's a bit more controversial or political crowd rather than a friendly one.

Academics, Campus, and More: A Ramjas College Review.
Placements: Placement opportunities in my course are very limited. The placement cell organizes placement drives and circulates internships and placements within the college group. However, only 15-20% of the students secure placements, with an average package of 2-3 Lacs per annum. The eligibility to sit for placements is based on academic performance, with a CGPA of a minimum of 7. TCS and DNA Labs have visited for placements, and the highest package is 4-5 Lacs per annum. Although internships are offered throughout the degree and DU itself offers internships, stipend internships are for 5-10k per month and majorly require research report writing tasks.
Infrastructure: The basic amenities include a projector in every class, Wi-Fi throughout the college (although it doesn't work very well), and labs that are well-equipped with all the necessary equipment. Furthermore, the library has a plethora of books that are easily accessible and available for issue. Moreover, it's air-conditioned. Hostels are pretty good, with shared rooms, study spaces, and a decent mess. The college canteen is extremely affordable but lacks variety. A medical room is available within the college with a practitioner's nurse. In addition to that, the gym is accessible to all, and basketball courts, a football ground, and volleyball courts are present within the college campus.
Faculty: Professors at Ramjas are qualified and approachable, particularly in my course. A few teachers' teaching quality, however, varies across faculty members. The curriculum includes Zoology, Botany, and Chemistry as core subjects, which makes it great for further academic pursuits. However, it lacks industry relevance. It's challenging to get a promising, high-paying job through this curriculum. Semester exams are pretty moderate. They include practical and theory exams, along with internal tests throughout the semester, as well as file and assignment submissions. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it offers a wide range of options for pursuing a Master's degree. The variety of subjects is the key factor in choosing this course. I wish the placement and internship opportunities had been improved, as well as the industry relevance of this course. Fests and events are frequent at Ramjas. Ramjasotsav (Diwali fest) and Mosaic (annual fest held in April-May) are the highlights, with concerts and cultural events. The campus crowd is diverse, with people from different states of India showcasing their own uniqueness. (e.g., the college has a North Eastern Society specifically dedicated to North Eastern students).

Overall, a mixed experience. Campus is good. Crowd is fine. But, not all facilities are good.
Placements: Very few students are placed. There are no placements in my course and no companies come for my course. There are no good internships. It's hard to get scholarships. The college schedule is not working towards that. Very few people join internships, and there are no placements after graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good but there's no hostel facility. That's a big problem for students, as 80% of them come from various states. They have to pay a large amount of money in PGs and for food as well. It's really expensive for students to live near campus.
Faculty: Very few teachers are helpful. As per my experience, I came from north-east India. I faced many problems in college while learning things but the teachers were not helpful. Most of them were rude. So I lost interest in studying, and most students face that.
Other: The college fee is good for me. It's affordable and the crowd is also fine for me.
