Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2024

I recommend UG students for this college 100%, but Post Graduate, especially MCA, is not recommended
Placements: 2.27% of students are placed in my course. The package offered in our college: (highest - 7 LPA), (lowest - 2 LPA), (average - 3.5 LPA). Zoho is the top recruiting company for our course. 79.5% of students got an internship (self-placed) in the Software Developer role.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is only available for lab purposes, not for our mobile devices. The classrooms are very spacious, but the laboratory was unsatisfactory. They still have 2GB RAM computers. The hostel has 24/7 hot water, medical ambulance, and the food is good. Sports facilities like volleyball, cricket, and basketball grounds are available in our college. It’s a good place for sports.
Faculty: 1 or 2 teachers are helpful, others are not like that. They use you for their work. The teaching quality was so bad. I give 2 stars to the teachers in that college. Our students gained knowledge from other students, not from the teachers. They are not up-to-date with their knowledge and also target the students they don’t like (this is the worst case in our college). The course curriculum was good because it had emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, etc. Semester exams are not difficult. Even below-average students can get 7.5 CGPA and above.
Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about computer applications. Our college curriculum was so good. I wish to change the teachers, provide some high-speed computers (8 to 12 GB RAM), and give some more companies for placement (3 to 5 companies we are getting in our batch). There are totally two events conducted by our department. The hostel day celebration happens for one month, and scholarships are helpful, ranging from 9000 to 40000, depending on the categories.

B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

Good for studies and fair to pick.
Placements: Several prominent tech companies such as Zoho, TCS, and Infosys visit the campus annually. At the same time, numerous startups also participate in the recruitment process. Placements commence at the beginning of the final year, prompting students to strive for securing a position during interviews. While securing internships may not be facilitated by the staff, reputable faculty members may recommend students to esteemed companies based on their reputation.
Infrastructure: The college's infrastructure is commendable, with the hostel also being of good quality. However, the food provided falls short of expectations. The cleanliness of the hostel toilets is satisfactory, but the workers' lack of diligence may lead to unhygienic conditions. It is imperative for the students to take responsibility for upholding the cleanliness of their living environment.
Faculty: The course offers a fair experience. The curriculum is highly applicable and has been meticulously crafted to align with the advancements in the field of Computer Science engineering. The faculty members come from diverse backgrounds, with some being helpful and dedicated, while others may lack the same level of commitment. It is up to us to choose a mentor from this pool of faculty members.

An overview of EEE department in AUBIT college .
Placements: More than 90% of students are placed here in our department. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 2.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are mostly Tamil Nadu-based local startups or medium-sized companies. More than 60% of students will do 2 to 3 internships in their college life .
Infrastructure: We have all types of necessary infrastructure like labs, classrooms, and 3 libraries, but there is no Wi-Fi connection in campus, only in lab. The hostel facilities are below average. Each year, there is a separate hostel. The food there will be also below average. Weekly, 3 times non-vegetarian food is given. On campus, sports are most recognized; we have all types of sports. Also, we have support of faculty for sports.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified; all of them hold doctorates in their fields and the quality of education is high. As per Regulation 2021, the internal marks cover 40% and the semester exam covers 60%, so it is important to study the internals also. The semester exams are not that difficult. We have to prepare using the last 3–4 years of question papers, then we can easily get first-class marks.
Other: I chose the EEE because I have been interested in that field since my childhood days. I wish that my college faculty would give us more practical knowledge than only theoretical knowledge. On our campus every year, even in September, we conduct events like symposiums, culturals, sports days, and farewells for our passing students.

Well satisfied because of good faculty and placement in 2023 .
Placements: More than 80% of the students were placed in various companies. In top companies like Zoho, Infosys, Tata, etc., students were placed each year. Above 50% of students are taking internship courses. Teachers are making all students smart and good and eligible for the campus interview.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure were so good. Wi-Fi connections are not available in our college. Except for Wi-Fi, other facilities are good. Labs and classrooms are available, and it is so good. The food in the hostel is also good and of high quality. There is a health center, and more than 15 sports and games are practiced regularly by the students and by sports faculty members.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and teach well. They are more knowledgeable; they are making each and every student good not only in the curriculum but also in extracurricular activities. The semester exams are very hard, but with the help of smart teaching by our teachers, we are doing our exams well. 45% is the pass percentage.
Other: I am interested in research, so I chose biotechnology, and I want to become an industrialist. This course will help me achieve my goals. The classrooms are temporary; we don't have permanent classes. The classroom facilities must be improved. Our college conducts culturals, sports days, and hostel days. The government of Tamil Nadu provides scholarships for each and every student.

This college is one of the best universities in Chennai.
Placements: Placement opportunities are pretty good here. Many companies come for the placement, and they give a decent average package. Flipkart, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, HSBC, ICICI Bank, etc. companies came, and they offered around an INR 15 lakh package.
Infrastructure: Three boys' hostels and girls' hostels are available inside the college campus. RO-purified water supply is available 24 hours a day. Enough bathrooms are available on every floor of the hostel. 24-hour security. Three double-decker beds are in the room. Four-time food is available: breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, and dinner. Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year.
Faculty: The goal of biotechnology is to produce drugs by using living organisms such as bacterial cells, mammalian cells, etc. that are placed in culture to produce substances with pharmacological activity, such as monoclonal antibodies for the treatment of tumors. Faculty members of my department are well educated, have very high practical knowledge, and are student-friendly. Most faculty members are associate professors. For B.Tech, they conduct three cycle tests and model exams for practical and theory before the university exams, and for M.Tech, two CTs are conducted. Ct1 consists of units 1-2 and CT-2 for units 3,4,5, and model practical before the university exams. Class size: 80 courses; INR 79000 per year.

BIT campus -Anna University and the life.
Placements: The placement after completing degree was good the placement offered by college during campus interview is good but we can't expect more packages. The job for this course is good abroad while comparing to India. It is better to study higher education after completing the course .
Infrastructure: The hostel and the surroundings is good. There are so many facilities in the hostels like stationery inside the hostel washing machines etc. The classrooms are very comfortable to study. There is separate laboratory for each field in every departments.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, knowledgeable and experienced. They teach us very well they guide to score more marks. After completing the course we can go for abroad for jobs with good packages. The semester exam is complicated and it is good to score 80% marks.
