Good college with good environment for studies .
Placements: 60% of the students were placed in the course. At my time, we didn't get any opportunities but now they have too many in my college. It is one of the most valuable course in engineering. We get jobs in government sector and the private companies. They also offer good internships. Top roles offered are junior engineer, assistant engineer etc.
Infrastructure: Don't have any Wi-Fi but the labs and classrooms and library was good. It's a local college so it doesn't have a hostel. The college canteen and other food stores was expensive but food was tasty. Sports, events, parties were good and we could order food from outside like Swiggy.
Faculty: Professors are very helpful and friendly and the teaching quality was good. Absolutely, course content is useful in the future technology. Coming on exams if you got knowledge about subjects, its easy to pass and get good percentage. The pass percentage was 50%.
Other: I want to know how we are using power and how power is generated so I chose the electrical course. There is a need to change the technology in India, now we are using viewable wiring in the cities, villages to be change under ground wiring.

Review of Vijaya Rural Engineering College.
Placements: One can expect to be placed in good company from VREC. In our batch, about 50%-60% of students got placed. It entirely depends on your percentage. The highest salary package that one of my friends got was 9 LPA from Wirpo. The average salary package offered was around 4.5 LPAu20135.0 LPA. Students were placed at many mid-tier to big MNCs like Amazon, Genpact, HCL, HSBC, Google, etc. The overall placement opportunities were very good at this college.
Infrastructure: VREC had a very good infrastructure. The college had a huge campus. It was situated in a remote area. It was somewhat outside the city. The entire campus had Wi-Fi facilities for students. The classrooms were very spacious, and they also had projectors for better learning. The labs were very good, with new equipments and all the things needed in the curriculum. There was a college library where you could get all the books needed for preparation. There was a mess on the campus, where snacks and other food items were available.
Faculty: Faculty members at VREC were experienced and highly motivated. They were knowledgeable because they had good experience. They helped students who did not understand the topics properly. The course curriculum was designed in such a way that students could get theoretical and practical knowledge to become industry-ready. The semester exams were neither too hard nor too easy. The pass percentage was around 88%-89%. .
Other: I chose this course because I liked computers. I wanted to learn more about how they work and how they were designed. I thought this was the best course to enroll in. Some small changes need to be made in the practicals. There were a lot of events and fests like annual fest, freshers' day, fashion show, etc. There were scholarship opportunities from the state and central governments.

Review of Vijaya Rural Engineering College.
Placements: 20 to 30 percent of students got placed. 1.5 Lacs to 2 Lacs per annum is the average package. TCS and Coca-Cola beverages are the top recruiters. 60 percent of students got internships in TCS. Decision manager, marketing manager, digital sector assistant manager, assistant architect, assistant civil draft irrigation process manager, etc. are top roles that can be offered to engineering students.
Infrastructure: No Wi-Fi working, classrooms are full of mess and dust, labs are good but not enough space to work, only one library, which is for B. Tech people, and diploma books are the least. The hostel is good, and everything is clean, but in the college canteen, prices are high, and there are no medical facilities or regular sports weekly.
Faculty: The faculty is not good except for one, who is not well qualified, has no knowledge, and whose quality is below average. The curriculum is good but does not make the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much more difficult for those who study on their own will, like me, but the percent of passing is 60%.
