Yes, you can track the status of your update request using the Update Request Number (URN) provided at the time of submission.

Is it necessary to update my address on my Aadhar card if I move to a new location temporarily?

Can PAN Card and Aadhaar Card Have Different Addresses?

Yes, a PAN card and an Aadhaar card can have different addresses. This is because:

  • The Aadhaar card was introduced much later than the PAN card, and some individuals might not have updated their PAN address accordingly.

However, keeping both addresses updated for consistency is advisable, especially for income tax filing and financial transactions.
