In an unexpected move, the founder and CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, introduced the mixed reality headset Meta Quest-3 just three days before the Apple annual developer meet WWDC 2023, where it is expected that Apple will launch its first AR/VR headset.
The delivery of the Meta Quest is expected to start in fall 2023. Meta also promises to cut down the cost of Meta Quest 2 to $299 for 128 GB GB to give the magical experience of virtual reality to more people.
