  • Essays will come after the MCQ section.
  • At least 50% of MCQs must be answered correctly to become eligible for the essay section.
  • You can take Part 1 and Part 2 in any order. You may also take them on the same day.
  • The exam score range is 0-500 and you must score at least 360 for both parts to pass the exam. Your total score in both sections will determine whether you have passed the CMA exam.
  • Six weeks after the end of the month, in which you took the exam, you will receive an email with your exam results and they will also be added to your online profile.

CMA Course Exam Eligibility in US

  • You need to register yourself with the IMA.

How to Register for CMA USA?

Registrations for CMA in USA for Parts 1 and 2 close after 15 February, 15 June, and 15 October each year. To register for an exam the applicants will have to either:

There are three steps to get CMA Certification in the USA and they are as follows:

  1. First, join IMA as a member and then enrol in the CMA program.

How to Apply for CMA in USA?

In the first table the writer has mentioned duration of 3 years for US CMA but a student can complete US CMA within 6 to 9 months and 3 years is for Indian CMA
