Irish Education Experience
Tips: University of Galway is the third-best university in Ireland. The campus is amazing, with over 100 hectares of land. Galway is a beautiful cultural town, and Ireland is a very peaceful and scenic country. The course I took was a well-balanced combination of technical and business knowledge. The only downside was the weather, as it rains a lot and the weather conditions can be extreme.
Likes (Safety): Galway City is amazing and safe. However, there are a few things to be aware of. Be wary of Facebook scams related to house rentals. Some scammers will ask for a deposit without even showing you the house. Avoid walking alone at night, especially in certain shady areas. Stay away from the teenage crowd.
Dislikes (Internships): I found my internship via the gradireland website. There are several websites that can help you in your job search, but you need to start applying as soon as you arrive in Ireland. The university also holds job fairs on campus that can help you introduce yourself to potential employers.

University of Galway is multidimensional.
Tips: It was definitely a challenging transition for me and my family. It takes some time to adjust to any new country, but this transition taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of balance in my personal and professional life. Salary depends on job profile and experience. Most companies don't sponsor work visas. Freshers can expect an offer between 28,000 and 35,000. Experienced candidates may get a higher salary. Some people get jobs right away, but others have to keep looking. It takes a lot of effort to find a job in this field. Overall, I am satisfied with my university, course, and country.
Likes (Indian Food): I cook at home because Indian restaurants are expensive. There are Indian stores here that sell spices, pulses, and vegetables, and you can also find Indian food at Tesco supermarket.

My college is well and good but living here is too costly.
Tips: Students should be aware of the rent system or accommodation system of Galway as it is quite expensive and sometimes it is so tough to find it. If you are in the August-September intake, it is important to start looking for houses as early as possible. You should book your house in March or April, which is about 4-5 months in advance.
Likes (Part time work): Part-time jobs are easily available because there are lots of stores that hire very easily. The pay is 13.5 euros per month, so you can easily manage your monthly expenses. You can work wherever you want, and you will get your part-time job within 1 month of applying.
Dislikes (Public transportation): The buses run infrequently. If I have an appointment off campus, I have to wait an hour or two for the bus to come. As a result, I have to leave for class early and come home late, which affects my ability to get a part-time job.

The people are very fun loving and helpful. Campus is great and beautiful.
Tips: There is a cultural shift here but there are many Indians around so you won't feel homesick. People are always ready to help you. The scholarship was not there for me since I didn't apply earlier. But there are scholarship options for this university can check in the University of Galway portals for further information. The university overall is really great and beautiful.

The university is beautiful and provides great facilities.
Tips: I'm just glad that I got admission to this university. The cost of tuition is worth it. The large Indian community here celebrates our festivals, and it's a great opportunity to explore a foreign country. Also, there are a lot of job opportunities here with good salaries. I'm really enjoying my time here.
Likes (Value for money): The campus size and facilities are outstanding, and the library and pods for self-study are great. The career guidance is the best part of this university, and it's worth spending a huge amount of money on education in Ireland.
Dislikes (Quality of faculty): The education system in India is very different from that in Europe. In India, we are used to being spoon-fed information. But in Europe, it's all about self-study. So it's difficult for Indian students to adjust to the European education system.

LLM Law and Digital Innovation at University of Galway Highlights
LLM Law and Digital Innovation
at University of Galway
- Several drivers of change are influencing how law itself, the practice of law, and the business of law operate
- These include information and communications technology (particularly so-called ‘artificial intelligence’) globalisation, the rise of in-house lawyering, outsourcing, off-shoring, equality, inclusion and diversity issues, and environmental, social and governance challenges
- The law, the courts, and the legal services industry are under greater pressure than ever before to adapt to the new possibilities that technology affords
- This programme takes all of this into account and focuses on ‘lawtech’: the uses of technology for legal practice – from basic tools like word processors and spreadsheets to sophisticated ‘artificial intelligence’ applications that some claim will replace lawyers and judges
