ASHRAE announces recipients of Society Scholarship

Study in US: The American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers in the US has announced the Society Scholarship recipients. It is a diverse organization with over 50,000 members from more than 132 nations. The organization has announced 36 Society scholarships for academic year 2024-25.

ASHRAE has announced the Society Scholarships for 2024-25. The organization has announced 36 Society scholarships. It totaled at $208,500.

ASHRAE President M. Dennis Knight, P.E., BEMP, Fellow Life Member ASHRAE said, "Scholarships are an essential investment in the future of our industry. By supporting talented students who are passionate about building sciences and HVAC&R, we are not only helping them achieve their educational goals, but we are also empowering the next generation of professionals. Congratulations to this year’s scholarship recipients.”

ASHRAE is also accepting applications for the Society Scholarships for 2025-26. The last date to apply is December 1, 2025.

ASHRAE is dedicated to promoting a sustainable and healthy built environment, said the official statement.

Society Scholarship Details

Presidents Scholarship, Gordon V. R. Holness Engineering Scholarship, Gordon V. R. Holness Engineering Technology Scholarship, Reuben Trane Scholarships, Willis H. Carrier Scholarships, Alwin B. Newton Scholarship, ASHRAE Region IV Benny Bootle Scholarship, David C.J. Peters Scholarship, Charles E. Henck Scholarship, Duane Hanson Scholarship, Frank M. Coda Scholarship, Freshman Engineering Scholarship, James R. Bullock Jr. Scholarship, General Scholarship, Legacy Scholarship, Lynn G. Bellenger Engineering Scholarship, William P. Chapman Scholarship, Prem Jain Scholarship, Donald E. Nichols Scholarship, Henry Adams Scholarship, High School Senior Scholarships, New Jersey Chapter Scholarship and more.

The recipients of these awards are students of various universities in the US. Presidents Scholarship is awarded to Haylee Nicholas from Kansas State University, Rachel Xing from University of Texas at Austin has received Gordon V. R. Holness Engineering Scholarship, Gordon V. R. Holness Engineering Technology Scholarship is awarded to Avery Burger from Ferris State University, and so on.

The President Scholarship award value is $12,500. The other awards offer a value of $10,000. Every year, ASHRAE awards scholarships to qualified students.
