Study in UK: Apply Now for University of Oxford Skoll Scholarship!
The Oxford Skoll Scholarship offers an excellent opportunity for students enrolling in the MBA program at Oxford University as it covers full tuition fees and partial living expenses.
The University of Oxford and Said Business School are currently accepting the applications for Oxford Skoll Scholarship. The scholarship is for social innovators who are interested in undertaking an MBA course to upskill themselves. Oxford Skoll Scholarship covers full MBA course fees and also offers partial living expenses.
The scholarship also offers applicants the opportunity to join the Skoll Scholar community. It connects students with social innovators and provides lifelong learning. There are a total of four scholarships available. The last date to apply for the Oxford Skoll Scholarship is January 6, 2025.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria:
Entrepreneurial action: The applicant should have a minimum of 3 years experience in entrepreneurial approaches where they must have taken an initiative to grow a social venture.
Must have created an impact with the entrepreneurial action on unjust systems
They must have the qualities of a social entrepreneur such as the tendency to explore the environment for opportunities, be single-minded, focused, and be a force for positive change.
How to Apply?
Following are the steps the applicants should follow to apply for the scholarship:
Step 1: Fill out an application for the Oxford MBA programme, the application will be assessed by the MBA admissions teams.
Step 2: Once the application is accepted, it will automatically be forwarded to be considered for the scholarship.
Step 3: It will be reviewed by the committee and the applicant will get an update on the scholarship status.
Step 4: After one receives the confirmation mail, they need to complete the Logistics and Reference Form.
University of Oxford offers Felix Scholarships for Indians
It is for master's and DPhil courses at the university. It is open to all students from India. It covers 100% of course fees, offers one return flight from India to the UK and also covers living costs of up to £17,800. Decisions around Felix scholarships are normally taken around May 2024. Those who do not hear from the university by this time are not selected for the scholarship.
To be considered for this scholarship, Indian students must have a first-class undergraduate or master's degree from India. They must be planning to return to India after the completion of their course at Oxford University. Moreover, the applicant should not hold a degree from a university outside India.
