Study In UK: Apply Soon For Strathclyde University £1,800 Scholarship For Online Master’s Students
The deadline for this scholarship at Strathclyde University is nearing soon. The last date to apply for the £1,800 Scholarship for online Master’s students is December 12, 2024.
The University of Strathclyde Glasgow is offering a Faculty of Science Scholarship for online master's programs. There are 10 scholarships available for new students who are joining the online master's programmes in the year commencing on January 2025 in the academic year 2024/2025.
The value of the scholarship is £1,800 towards the tuition fees. The courses for which this scholarship is available include - MSc Applied Statistics in Finance, MSc Applied Statistics with Data Science, MSc Applied Statistics in Health Sciences, and MSc Applied Statistics.
"Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle and so making an early application for admission is advised," says the official notification.
The scholarship is highly competitive in nature and granted to students who demonstrate outstanding academic performance and any relevant professional and extra-curricular experience.
To apply for the scholarship, the applicant should be a new student of the Faculty of Science Masters online programme for January 2025. Such candidates will be sent a link to the application form for the scholarship either through the offer letter or email. Once, the students submit the application form, the selected ones will be notified within 4 weeks of submitting the scholarship application.
Eligibility Criteria For £1,800 Scholarship For Online Master’s Students
The eligibility requirements include:
- The student should have an offer of admission from Strathclyde University for an online MSc in the Faculty of Science starting in January 2025.
- The student needs to be self-funded. Those who get scholarships from the embassy or any government office will not be eligible.
"Online masters degrees in the Faculty of Science are studied part-time over three years. The scholarship will be awarded towards the payment of a student’s tuition fee as a £600 award in each of the three years of study, or a £900 award in each of the two years of study, subject to academic progression," added the official statement.
