Enjoyed a lot in college!
Placements: On our passed-out time, there were very few placements due to COVID-19 in 2019. But after that, my next year batch got many placements from big companies like Tech Mahindra, TAFE, New Holland, etc. Most members of our batch in 2018 got internships and went to Andaman, Hyderabad, Ludhiana, Coimbatore, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good in our college. For every department, all equipment is available in the labs, and there is a big library in our college. Hostel facilities are good; rooms are free, and all are friendly. The food is also nice and very hygienic. The greenery is good in the hostel surroundings, and we have a playground as well.
Faculty: I passed out in 2022. The college atmosphere is so good, and the faculty is very friendly and clarifies all doubts. Exams are conducted systematically, and many practicals and workshops are held. There are many useful agricultural implements to learn from. Nice college and nice faculty. Thank you.
Other: I like agriculture, so I chose this field. My studies are good, and my grades are also good. The college events, fests, and extracurricular activities are also there. Scholarships are good too.

B.Sc.(Hons.) in Agriculture - Batch of 2025
Offered by N.S. Agricultural College
1.2
1Placements2Infrastructure1Faculty1Crowd & Campus Life1Value for Money
The most regrettable decision of my life.
Placements: There is not even a single placement that has taken place since the college was established. The college does not have ICAR accreditation, due to which the placement percentage is nil. Not only placements, it is even difficult to secure a M.Sc. seat with a degree in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is below average but comparatively better than at other colleges in our state. Coming to the hostel, it's not that good, and the food is even worse. You will be paying INR 46,000 per year as a mess fee and you will get the worst food you could ever eat.
Faculty: The faculty here are freshers who just finished their M.Sc. in agriculture and had come here for some livelihood. They do not possess that much knowledge and skill. Coming to the exams, you need to be ready to bear the stress as you are going to have practical and semester finals within a gap of 2–3 days.
Other: The campus life is the worst. You cannot experience anything that feels great and memorable here. It's boring on this campus. There are only 2 events per year and they are Freshers and Farewell. So you can't have a memorable campus life here.

The success depends on activity and interest of students.
Placements: The college requires students to complete internships as part of the course. Many students secure internships at well-reputed companies and startups. It is important to note that the college does not guarantee placements as it is a government college. After graduation, the packages can vary, mostly depending on efforts. The highest in the 2023 batch was INR 40,000 per month, and the lowest was INR 12,000 per month (only 50% of the batch is working), as far as I know. Many find the median salary of INR 15,000 or so to be on the lower side and look for other opportunities or pursue higher studies. Experience is very important in the food industry, and there is no shortage of opportunities. People get jobs in quality assurance, production, research and development, etc.
Infrastructure: The college is small but beautiful (I might be an alumni). The library is a great resource, but the computer facilities can use some improvement. There are hostels for both boys and girls, and the food is reasonably okay for the cost. The labs could be upgraded and modified to better aid the compulsory research segment. Due to its size, the college could have fewer sports facilities compared to colleges under ANGRAU, but the overall experience depends on students involvement and enthusiasm.
Faculty: The academic circulation is well structured for the most part, but it could use some updating to stay industry-relevant. The professors are knowledgeable, smart, and dedicated, but they often have a lot on their plate, leading me to believe more teachers could benefit them and the college. The success of the program is entirely dependent on the students. The exams are stringent, and you will fail if you don't work enough as there are no handouts (which is good?).
Other: The course is the best part about the college for me. It is interesting, applicable, and ever-evolving. Students would benefit if they could plan their future while in college instead of waiting for the last moment. The crowd is great; you will find many hardworking people and make friends for life. The college humbles me, and I am sure that will help me stay rounded. The college does not have 'fest' in the traditional sense; we have a lot of things, but they are often on a small scale. One thing that irked me the most is the mentality that seems to be common in Andhra in general: the restriction of girls in the name of safety. Not blaming the college, but it can be frustrating as a 20-year-old to only get out on Saturday for an outing while the boys can leave at anytime. Movement can be missed, but restriction is not the answer to that.

Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure. It is a good college. The college environment is good. The college is far from town, and there is no noise pollution. There are hostels for girls and boys. The hostel rooms are huge. A playground is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are Ph.D. holders. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. Semester exams are challenging. If we study one day before exams, it is easier to pass or score good marks. The pass percentage is 60%.

Our college is good in terms of higher education.
Placements: Our college did not provide placements in 2022. If any student is placed, then the highest package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4.5 LPA. Our previous batch had placements in marketing, Mahindra, Jain Irrigation, Our Food, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Our college rating for neatness is 4 out of 5. Our college is very neat. Classrooms are equipped with projectors. The library contains several books for reference. The computer lab contains many labs such as farm equipment labs, a food processing lab, a mini watershed area for demo purposes, etc. Our college provides us with a lot of labs for more learning purposes.
Faculty: All the teaching faculty were professors and assistant professors. They have great knowledge and excellent teaching skills. All departments have the best faculty members. They can explain the theory as well as the practical by themselves. In the 4th, 6th, and 8th semesters we will have student ready program.
Other: Our college has only one course, so students were fewer compared to other colleges. It's nearly 350 members only. Our college should improve by getting placements in the technical field also.
