BDS - Bachelor of Dental Surgery - Batch of 2028
Offered by Mamata Dental College
3.4

A quick review to Mamata Dental College.
Placements: As I am in a medical course, they don't offer placements, but they do offer internships for 1 year. Every student has to compulsorily complete the internship to get the certificate after completing four years of studies in the same college, which is Mamata Dental College.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite decent, and it can be much better, but it is not bad. Hostel food is also pretty average, which can be better, but the hostel rooms are good, which gives you a healthy environment to study. The library is really well maintained and is the best place to study during exams.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and have much experience, and they are well knowledgeable, which they share with us. The course curriculum is also well maintained, which makes us a great doctor. We have to get at least 50 percent to pass the final exams, which is easy.
Other: The college infrastructure is quite average, which can be better, like the canteen, which can be much better. But overall, the college is pretty average.

Kamineni is the best private college in Telangana.
Placements: I am from the 2020 batch and will graduate in 2025. I am an A category student, and my tuition is 97,500 per year for a total of 5 years. I receive a scholarship of INR 60,000 per year under the minority scholarship. The B category fee is 15 lakhs for a total of 5 years, and the C category fee is 1.2 crores for a total of 5 years.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and the labs are very clean and well-equipped. The library is very nice and has all the books that we need. The canteen is neat and hygienic, and serves delicious food. There are indoor games like chess, carrom, and table tennis, as well as outdoor games. All medical facilities are available for students, including an annual free health checkup.
Faculty: The teachers are well experienced, good at teaching, and very knowledgeable. They are supportive and take input from students. They help us in understanding different topics. The course curriculum is relevant, and we have interactive classes. We have three internal exams and one external exam. 50% is the pass percentage.
Other: Our campus has a great inflow of patients, and we see a lot of patients every day. This provides good exposure and great learning opportunities. We also have fests every year, and other events are conducted frequently.

BAMS - Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery - Batch of 2026
Offered by Dr. B.R.K.R. Government Ayurvedic College

Satisfied with the course even though I couldn't crack neet for mbbs.
Placements: We get admission into this college through neet. We need to score min 300 to 350 marks in neet to join in this college. There are only 2 bams colleges in whole Telangana that too are government colleges. There is no possibility for management seats. Teaching and practical training is good in this college. As it is present in main city, OP in hospital is very high in a day which provides scope for students to learn. Our college have herbal garden, play group, Library, rasashala(pharmacy). We get to learn about manufacturing of ayurvedic medicines in rasashala ..
Infrastructure: We have digital classroom with projectors. We have library, play ground, laboratory, Hostel is average, not soo good. It is not suitable for students who are specially soo neat. Mess is also average. It is worth for money. We can study in classroom even after the timings of college. Watch man is present 24/7
Faculty: All the teaching faculty are post graduates. Some share their entire knowledge and experience. But some faculty donot share their experience. After this course we have many options to choose. We can get government jobs as medical officer, MLHP posts. We can also set up our own private hospital. There is also a scope in other countries in field of research. We can apply for teaching faculty in colleges
Other: There is scholarship every year for students including to those with EWS. Environment around the college is so good even though it is in centre of city.

MD in Obstetrtics and Gynaecology - Batch of 2027
Offered by Osmania Medical College
3.6
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
College is good for learning but facilities are less.
Placements: Medical Colleges don't provide any placements similar to engineering colleges. In Telangana, for post-graduation in OBGY, Osmania Medical College and Gandhi Medical College are best. PG from these colleges gives students enough reputation to secure a job in a private hospital or one will gain enough experience to start their own clinic.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the hospital where we work for PG OBGY at Osmania Medical College is not very good. Only basic investigations, such as CBP, LFT, RFT, PT/INR, and thyroid profile, are conducted. A blood bank is available in the hospital. Library is available in college which is 10 minutes from hospital.
Faculty: Teachers for the PG program are highly qualified. We have to take exams in 3rd year, and most students pass successfully. We gain significant hands-on experience. We will be looking after wards and delivery room in 1st year. By the 2nd year, we have opportunities to perform LSCS. During the 3rd year, we perform numerous LSCS procedures and a few total abdominal hysterectomies (around 2). Completing the PG from Osmania University prepares you to start your own clinic, with a focus on obstetrics. However, further learning in gynecology is recommended through fellowships.
Other: I like the surgical branch, so I opted for OBGY. Social life is less in this branch because of emergency deliveries. Every year PG, fest is conducted.

Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) - Batch of 2025
Offered by MNR Dental College and Hospital
3.8

Overall a good college, you can go for it.
Placements: Our medical college doesn't provide placements, but our college does have an internship course of one year, where students get to learn and perform new surgeries. Our college also offers post-graduation in all nine departments of dentistry, like oral pathology, oral medicine and radiology, prosthodontics, periodontics, pedodontics, conservative and endodontics, public health dentistry, orthodontics, and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Infrastructure: Our college classrooms are well-facilitated with air conditioners and projectors for a better teaching and learning experience. Labs and clinics are present for all the respective departments. We also have a central library, which has more than 1 lakh books. The college hostel is decent, with four girls' hostels and one boys' hostel. Mess food is good, and we also have a canteen, supermarket, and stationery shop within the campus.
Faculty: Our teachers here are qualified MS doctors. They are professionals who teach us all the necessary education for our field. They are very supportive and encourage us in our overall development. Yes, they are strict regarding academics and attendance, but they are also friendly. University exams are conducted once a year, and internal examinations are conducted three times a year, which are moderately hard.
Other: I always wanted to become a doctor, so I chose to be one. The best thing about my course is that it makes you feel proud of yourself that you are able to bring the smiles of people back. I would really love to see dentistry being recognized in India in the future on a large scale, giving many more opportunities to students for making a worthy life. Our college conducts fests yearly, which include a traditional day, Halloween, a fashion show, a sports day, and an annual day celebration. Our college also celebrates all the important days and festivals. Our MNR University is a combined educational institute where it provides all courses like MBBS, BDS, physiotherapy, pharmacy, engineering, nursing, B.Ed, and homeopathy. It also has a school on the same campus. The TSepass scholarship is accepted in our college.

Infrastructure: Our college providing library ,wifi, labs according to the studies like prosthodontics lab dental anatomy lab.food was good not much tastier they provide veg and non veg twice a week and egg.they provide snacks at evening everyday.they provided canteen and basket ball court.
