This college is nice and I prefer this college to take admission.
Placements: My college is Dav College, Sector 10, Chandigarh. My college gives a chance for placement on behalf of their course. But there is not any well chance for placement because college does not provide to much placement; that's why I am giving a two-star rating to my college.
Infrastructure: In my college, there are different buildings of hostels for boys and girls. There is also a different mess for both boys and girls. In hostel Wi-Fi facility provided by college requested by student council of college, which includes: President Lavish Sherawat Vice president Mrinal Steta General Secretary Sourav Panwar Joint Secretary Yaima Oiman.
Faculty: Professors are well educated and knowledgeable; they help students but library staff have very poor behavior. When I took admission in college, then I went to the library to take my ID card, and then library staff behaved rudely with me that I don't read the board outside that my ID card is not here, then why did I come here! It is very poor behaviour.

DAV College- A detailed review.
Placements: In our college, students get admission based on their 12th results, and for the B.A. course, students should secure about 60-65%. The college is very good. I suggest students join this college without any further thinking.
Infrastructure: We have labs for each and everything, like psychology labs, bio labs, zoology labs, etc. We also have smart classrooms. Wi-Fi facility is provided to each and every student. The food served in the hostel is also very good. There are different sports like cricket, basketball, hockey, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, highly qualified, and full of passion. Their teaching skills are exceptional. The course curriculum is very genuine, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not so difficult to pass, and the pass percentage is 40%.

Reality of DAV College Chandigarh.
Placements: Above 70 percent of students were present in my class, and there are no placements in this college. Placement opportunities will be available for other courses offered in this college, and the placements are average. Many companies visit the college often and pick the best students.
Infrastructure: The canteen is good, and the food is tasty. AC is not available in all classes, but the classroom conditions are good. Sports and games are included, and students can participate in competitions. Medical facilities are also available and good. The food quality is good, but the prices are somewhat high.
Faculty: The faculty are good at teaching and are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams are easy to pass and not very difficult; many students pass the exams very easily. Faculty are friendly by nature, and you can interact with them easily to clear your doubts.

DAV College, the life of youngsters.
Placements: I haven't passed out yet but my seniors have got placed. Not only by passing but also by finding out their ambitions through clubs.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure to be honest is pretty basic and quite old, but the canteen food is fabulous. Hostel life is pretty interesting and affordable too. College offers many places for students to chill out inside the campus. The overall environment is pretty chill.
Faculty: Teachers are pretty supportive but only if students are sincere and cooperative with them. To be honest, they just ask students to be available regularly, and there's not much they ask for. Exams are pretty easy. There are mid-sem tests and then finals.

A great college.
Placements: Companies like Concentric, etc., visit the college. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. I have already been working with a salary package that is higher than what I would earn with just a 12th-grade education since the first semester. I don't believe that the degree offers good value for the money. Students pay a significant amount and spend three years in the program, only to end up earning the same as someone with just a 12th-grade diploma.
Infrastructure: I don't stay in the hostel, so I do not have any idea about it. The infrastructure is not good. Desks are not comfortable at all. Wi-Fi is not available for everyone. The library is quite good. Some rooms have walls and ceilings with holes in them. For sports, it took 3 years to replace the basketball court.
Faculty: Teachers are great. The teaching quality is great. They are supportive in every aspect. Exams are not difficult. Students have to study for 1 week per subject. The course does not make students industry-ready. I am working already, and I know how it is.
Other: I chose this college but I don't know why, but I loved it so far. It's average, but I still love it.

B.Sc. in Non Medical - Batch of 2026

2Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Faculty is good and helpful, but there are barely any placements here.
Placements: There are barely any placements of any big company; students can grab extra skill sets and get a job. Internships are also not assured. There is no guarantee of placement if you are just doing plain B.Sc. from here. The college does not secure any big placements or internships on campus.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available yet, except in hostels. Labs are well-equipped for practical purposes, classrooms are not digital and have blackboards and normal benches. Hostel food is not that good; the college canteen provides good food. An ambulance is available 24x7. A cricket ground, basketball court, volleyball court, and handball court are provided. Gym and indoor badminton courts are also provided at extra cost.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful, behave well, and are qualified with good knowledge of their subject. The curriculum is relevant, and exams are easy to pass. Teachers teach their part of the subject and cover the whole syllabus. They also address each child's doubts. However, the courses do not make students industry-ready; they need to upskill themselves through external courses.
Other: Social interaction is good here, and you get to participate in a lot of societies and explore more life opportunities. Fests are also organized frequently, and the college supports sports, providing a platform for students to represent PU.
