Reality of DAV College Chandigarh.

Placements: Above 70 percent of students were present in my class, and there are no placements in this college. Placement opportunities will be available for other courses offered in this college, and the placements are average. Many companies visit the college often and pick the best students.

Faculty is good and helpful, but there are barely any placements here.

Placements: There are barely any placements of any big company; students can grab extra skill sets and get a job. Internships are also not assured. There is no guarantee of placement if you are just doing plain B.Sc. from here. The college does not secure any big placements or internships on campus.

Dissatisfied with the quality, otherwise a good option.

Placements: We were not assured for placements, and hence, not provided with any. But I assume there could be placement guarantee for the students in business and commerce related courses. Bachelor of Arts does not assure of any such thing. The teachers can guide you otherwise.

Small Campus and Crowded.

Placements: In BCA, we usually have a batch of around 150 students every year. Regarding placements, only a few students with strong skills secure positions in companies like Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package recorded was 21 LPA, possibly from D. E. Shaw, and the average package ranges from 2.5 to 3 LPA. The college does not provide any internships.

Basic overview of the course.

Placements: There are two sections in the first year. Each section has two groups. Each group has approximately 80 students. Before our batch, around 74–75% of the total students were placed. The highest, the lowest and average packages were approximately 11 LPA, 1.5 LPA and 3 LPA respectively. The top companies were Decathlon, Airtel, Vivo. My estimation is that around 20 to 25% of students got internships.

It is a nice college but I would not recommend it to be your top priority.

Placements: Placement cell of dav college is not one of the best you can expect but it is okay. Various good company came to college to give placements to give jobs to the students but it needs a lot of improvement. Basic packages are offered that are about 3 to 5 Lacs.

Good for those who wants to be coder, and it is an evening course!

Placements: Very few students were selected in placement from my course as they prefer BCA/MCA/ B.Sc. Computer students. We can expect salary of 25k but it varies on skills also. Cognizant, Zoho etc. Were companies which were there for placement in my time. You can be a coder or can also work as a freelancer after this course.

Our college is really good.

Placements: Around 20-25% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is Rs.25,000 per month. The lowest salary package offered is Rs. 13,000 per month. Only a few students got internships. The top role offered is a receptionist.

Overall, the college infrastructure is good.

Placements: The average package offered is 4-5. Many recruiting companies come to the college to recruit students like Wipro, Infosys, HCL, TCS etc. Many roles are offered in this course. Many biotechnology companies are interested in providing internships.

Review of DAV College, Chandigarh.

Placements: My class has more than 80 students. When I checked the website, the highest salary was nearly about 32,000 per month, and the package is around 4 Lacs per annum. WhiteHat Jr., came here. The placement percentage is around 15%. Radiologist, scientist, lecturer, etc., roles are offered.

If you want live a good college life.

Placements: The highest package offered was not more than Rs 2 lakh per annum which was offered by Amazon and some other companies. But very few students give interview to join the company. Because all of the company are offering a job for BPO. B.Sc is not such course in which companies will hire you for jobs.

It has a good infrastructure and qualified staff members.

Placements: Very few students got placements from the college. I have been studying here for 3 years, but I haven't seen many students getting placed by the college. Most of the students find the job from outside, and they have to reach the organisations to get a job.

Dissatisfied because of the management of the college.

Placements: None of the students were placed. There aren't any recruiting companies for my course. None of the students got internship from my course. My course wasn't really for that purpose that could help us in getting placements or the job, it was just a start.

A college of your choice.

Placements: The college do have its own placement cell and the placements majorly happen for MBA only, however job fair are also organised from time to time, various jobs that are offered have salary around 10k-15k per month, it is more of a graduation college.

Review of DAV College Chandigarh (DAVCHD).

Placements: The college provides good placements, but I was pursuing graduation, so I didn't go through the process. I don't know much about placements. All my friends are now pursuing higher education. Companies like Taj, Hayat and other companies visited our campus for placements.

It is a good college for average students.

Placements: No placements were offered for the students of our batch. I don't know about our seniors. Only 2-3 companies visited our college. They were offering only Rs. 15,000 per month to Rs. 18,000 per month, so nobody is interested in it. This college doesn't have a good record of placements.

DAV college sector-10 Chandigarh Review.

Placements: No campus placements for B.Sc. In fact no campus placement for any of the course in DAV college. MBA course has just started with it's first batch so no data about the MBA course. The college is affiliated to the PAnjab University m, Chandigarh but unlike PU there is no placement from DAV college.

A satisfactory masters degree in the DAV's environment.

Placements: More companies should be called for the placements, and proper information about them should be given to the students prior to their arrival as we depend on the jobs after the course completion. Better placements will help us grow more in our lives. Better packaged companies should be called.

Good experience about everything else except for water coolers and washrooms.

Placements: We want more companies to come for placement. A better communication method has to be opted for placements. Half of the times, we are not well informed that companies are coming to the college. More companies should come because, we as a stream, rely on a job after course completion.
