B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028
3.6
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
Decent college for engineering.
Placements: The placement here is about 60-70%, and the highest package is 32 LPA this year, and the average package is 5 LPA, and I have no idea about the minimum package. Some of the well-known companies like Walmart, Tata, etc. come to recruit students for their company. And students from CSE, ECE, IBT, IT, and EEE had the highest placement.
Infrastructure: The hostel has no Wi-Fi, and the infrastructure is also not very well maintained. The walls have all gotten old, and the washrooms and toilets are not that clean. The college facilities are quite good; the classrooms are big enough, and the staff are also very warm and welcoming. If I had to talk about sports, then it's average when it comes to sports, and the mess and canteen food are not so good for our health.
Faculty: Teachers are very well qualified, and the teaching quality is above average. Within four years the students are mentally and physically prepared for their life, and the 2 and 3 years are the toughest for most of the students. The pass percentage is 50%, which is not very difficult for an average student to pass.
Other: The hostel infrastructure and food of the hostel should be changed and improved.

B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2026
4.6
4Placements4Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Has the best friendly faculty.
Placements: Nearly 75% of students will be placed. The highest annual package is 25 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA. SOFA, L and T, Technip were the top companies recruiting. Technip will be giving internship programs.
Infrastructure: There are free Wi-Fi facilities and digital labs with availability of labs for all courses. The digital library has nearly 3000 books. The quality of food in the canteen is good, and a dispensary with a doctor is available.
Faculty: Highly qualified faculty members with Ph.D.s who have completed their studies at IITs and NITs.

B.E. in Industrial Biotechnology - Batch of 2027
3.4
4Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
Good college with less feels and good placements.
Placements: 51 percent of students were placed and the highest salary package is 14lakhs per annum. Top companies for not more but the placement were good. The companies select students with no arrear. The course has been accredited by national board of accreditation based on academic performance.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average and all can survive with good environment. The hostel is nice for the 1st year and for 3,4 th years but it is average for the 2nd year. Food is not very bad. Medical facilities are good the hostel caretakers will take to hospital if needed.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and experienced. The teach all the subjects in a professional way. The semester exams are quite hard but doing hardwork can make us write the exams well. The question paper is not so tough and getting help from library by referring the books can help score more marks.

M.E. in VLSI Design - Batch of 2021
5
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, this is the best college for the M.E. in VLSI Design course.
Placements: More than 85% of the students are in our group. The highest salary is 34 LPA, and the average salary ranges from 5 LPA to 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Intel Corporation, Saankia Labs, Cadence Design Systems, and others. Top jobs include Design Engineer, SoC Test Engineer, and so on.
Infrastructure: We have all the facilities in our college. Our college and hostels have 24/7 Wi-Fi. Our classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. Our college has technical labs. The library has good quality books. Our college has standard grounds and courts for various sports. We also have a canteen and an auditorium.
Faculty: The best teachers will be selected. The knowledge of the faculty is profound, and they are highly educated. They, too, want to enlighten us. Overall, there is no complaint about the quality of teaching. The curriculum is a bit outdated. Memory comes with learning. I know nothing about mechanical engineering. This course does not make the curriculum industry-ready. Semester exams are hard, and the pass percentage is around 68%.

B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2025
4.2

Complete satisfaction with its value.
Placements: There were a total of 126 students in my batch. As of now, my batchmates haven't started attending placements, but our previous batch had great placements with companies like Sobha Construction and L&T. There are many core and IT companies that regularly visit the college for internships and placements.
Infrastructure: GCT has the most adverse labs and lab equipment compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. The canteen isn't the best, but it has enough food to satisfy hunger. The hostels aren't the best in the world, as far as I have heard. I am a day scholar, but the food isn't all too bad.
Faculty: The staff and faculty are the most experienced and well-versed personnel in the field. The exams are adequate to test the knowledge of the students, and I wouldn't say they are too hard to crack. All the students are advised to have personal interests for their careers, and the college has multiple opportunities for showcasing the said talents.
Other: Overall, this is a really good college to start your career.

More students are placed in our batch.
Placements: The placement rate for our course is 78%, with the highest package for a VLSI major being 40 LPA and the average package being 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Deloitte, Charter Global, and others. Almost 80-90% of students get placed, and 40-50% get internships at various companies.
Infrastructure: Our college has excellent infrastructure and provides many facilities. The classrooms are air-conditioned and well-furnished, and the college provides free Wi-Fi. All classrooms are smart classrooms, and the college has a well-stocked library, a garden area, an open lawn, and a canteen. The management is very good, and the college provides many sports facilities.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. However, there is no proper management. If we work hard, it is easy to pass the semester exams. I even saw some students who passed the semester without any arrears, even though they didn't study. The pass percentage in our course is 76 percent.
