MBA (Regular & Self-support) postgraduate programme is offered by University of Madras. This programme is conducted by Madrasah University for two years. Admission is the only criterion for University of Madras MBA Admission 2024. The MBA programme at the Institute of Distance Education, University of Madras offers several specializations including Hospital Management and Human Resource Management. TANCET MBA, MAT, XAT, CAT, CMAT and TANCET exams are approved for MBA programs and require an aggregate score of 60% to complete.

The institute offers education in the fields of Science, Arts, Commerce, Management and Information Technology (IT). Students who want to take admission in MBA, MCA or M.Tech programme in University of Madras must clear TANCET. Applicants must achieve a minimum percentage greater than or equal to the university's required courses. Students should get their score from TANCET official website when the cut-off is announced, check if it meets the cut-off set by Madras University and then proceed with TANCET counselling.

Candidates must appear in an Management Entrance Test (MET) organised by the University and obtain a minimum of 40% aggregate or an eligible score obtained in CAT, XAT or CMAT.
