"Excellent Infrastructure and Supportive Faculty". .
Placements: Approximately 60-70% of students from the Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering course were placed. The highest package offered was ?12 LPA, while the lowest was ?3 LPA. The average package range between ?4.5 and ?5 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, and L&T Infotech, offering roles in software development, network engineering, and quality analysis. The placement cell is proactive in organizing drives and preparing students for industry requirements, ensuring good opportunities for both technical and managerial roles. This highlights the college? S focus on bridging the gap between academic learning and professional application, ensuring student success in the job market.
Infrastructure: The Electronics and Telecommunication department offers advanced labs like DSP, VLSI, and Microprocessors, ensuring hands-on learning. The campus is Wi-Fi enabled, with spacious classrooms and a well-stocked library for academic growth. Hostel rooms are clean and available on twin/triple sharing. The mess provides hygienic meals, while the canteen serves affordable snacks. Medical facilities include a first-aid room and tie-ups with nearby hospital. Sports facilities for cricket, football, basketball, and more promote extracurricular activities. The college? S infrastructure supports both academic and personal growth, creating a comfortable and productive environment for students.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified, approachable, and ensures students understand core concepts through interactive teaching and practical projects. The curriculum is well-structured, covering Communication Systems, Microprocessors, DSP, and IoT, with industry-relevant topics preparing students for emerging technologies. While robust, interacting tools like AI and 5G could enhance readiness further. Exams are moderate challenging, focusing on theoretical and practical knowledge, requiring consistent preparation. Approximately 85-90% of students pass each semester, with many achieving distinction. The combination of experienced faculty, a relevant curriculum, and balanced exams provides students with a strong foundation for academic and professional success.
Other: The college organizes two major annual fests: Technex, a technical fest, and Insight, a cultural fest, which offer a platform to showcase talents and build network. Regular departmental events like seminars, workshops, and competitions keep students engaged and up-to-date. The campus crowd is diverse and friendly, fostering a positive environment.

Good infrastructure and facilities, good teachers, and friendly, known for its discipline.
Placements: The highest package of our college went up to 16 LPA for the ETC branch, and the average package is 2-3 LPA for computer engineering students. Almost 50% of students got placed in our college, while others prefer to go off-campus for better options and careers.
Infrastructure: All the basic requirements for our course are available in the college itself, including Wi-Fi, proper labs with PCs like IoT lab, computer lab, physics lab, and many others. Our campus is more or less based on a green building structure, providing a good environment and a positive feeling.
Faculty: Our teachers are efficient in their teaching and take proper efforts for the betterment of students whenever help is required. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready, helping them excel in their field. The semester exams are conducted in proper order and are moderately hard and medium.
Other: I chose this course as I was passionate about game development and website designing. The things I expect to be better are advanced technology available for our course to gain more practical knowledge. Events and fests are conducted at proper intervals, mainly Technex and Insight, and there are also departmental events.

B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence - Batch of 2027

Strict college with a no-go hostel.
Placements: Honestly speaking, the branch of Artificial Intelligence is relatively new here, so there is no definite answer as to how high the placement for the course is. But if I have to answer, the highest package offered for B.Tech is 23 LPA, the lowest is 1.5 LPA, and the average is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The hostel blocks are separate as per male and female students, and both have different eating spaces and other facilities, except the playground and indoor sports room. Male students are not allowed in the female students' block, and there is a watchman present all the time. The food given is breakfast in the morning, lunch, and dinner at night. Three times a week there is non-veg available, but the quality of food is not that great. You can't cook your own food, and if you want to install a cooker or fan, you can do so, but you will have to pay the bill for it. Yearly fee of the hostel is between 60,000-70,000.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, even if they are strict. They teach all the syllabus thoroughly and take revisions before exams, and are even available for lectures if students have any doubts. The first year is the same for all branches, but there is a subject called 'Professional Foundation' which is different but branch-related. Exams are all based on what is taught in the classes. You can easily pass if you just study PYQ and read it thoroughly, but to score you have to study hard.
Other: There aren't many fests and events, college life is too strict. Much like school, it is even boring.

Pallotti College Review.
Placements: The placement rate is good, but students are being placed at low LPA. The CDC cell of our college is making efforts, so let's see what happens in the next few years. A variety of companies come for campus placements, but again, while the placement rate is okay, the packages are low.
Infrastructure: The college has a full-fledged Wi-Fi connection, with classrooms and labs available. The library is also good, but generally, they do not allow us in during lecture timings. The hostel is average; in terms of cleanliness, it is good, but the food is not that great, and the time allotted for hostel stays is also limited.
Faculty: The faculty is supportive and always ready to help with any project. They assist us in every aspect. The semester exams are easy; you can score well even after just one day of studying, as I do. Overall, the exams are manageable, and the curriculum is good.
Other: I chose this college because of its location; I didn't want much else. Overall, the college is average.

The faculty and the infrastructure are good.
Placements: The placement was good in previous years, but this year the placement was not good, and the package range is also between 2 and 6 lacs. The companies that are coming are also small or startups, and the opportunities were also less; not even 50 students got selected this year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the food in the hostel and canteen is very bad. You eat the food daily because the quality of the material used is not good, and the food quality is poor. The library is also good; you can get all the latest books there.
Faculty: The college faculty is good. The studying method is also good, and they are well-qualified and have very high knowledge in their field. The curriculum is good, and they prepare people for the placement properly. The semester exam is not hard if you attend the lectures properly.
Other: I decided to choose these courses because of the guidance of my brother, who has been working in the industry for a long time.

Great infrastructure and placements, but faculty and course structure need improvement.
Placements: In the 2023 batch at St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology, Nagpur, around 49.52% of students were placed, with the highest salary package being approximately INR 10 LPA, while the average was around INR 3.25 LPA. Top recruiters included Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and L&T Infotech, primarily for IT and Computer Science students. Some students also secured internships, although specific figures are not available.
Infrastructure: St. Vincent Pallotti College of Engineering and Technology (SVPCET) in Nagpur offers excellent infrastructure for students, including well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi-enabled classrooms, and a central library. The college has on-campus hostels for boys and girls with single, double, and triple occupancy rooms, Wi-Fi, sports facilities, and separate messes for vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Medical services are available with a doctor on call, and students enjoy recreational activities like sports and a gymnasium, all within a serene, green campus.
Faculty: The faculty is generally regarded as qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable, although some students have pointed out that certain teachers may not communicate effectively in English. The overall teaching quality is rated decently, with an emphasis on core subjects during the first year to build a strong foundation. However, some students find the pace of teaching challenging to keep up with. The curriculum is seen as relevant, covering key industry-related subjects like programming, databases, and more, which help students become job-ready, particularly in fields like Computer Engineering.
Other: The campus is enhanced by modern infrastructure and a variety of student activities. It hosts several annual technical and cultural events like Technex and INSIGHT, which offer students opportunities to participate in competitions ranging from robotics to dance. Extracurricular activities are supported by student-run clubs and societies such as ISHRAE and SAE, which focus on areas like car design and other engineering innovations.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.
