JEE Mains 2025 Admit Card: Date, Link at jeemain.nta.nic.in; How to download

NTA will activate the JEE Main 2025 session 1 admit card download link on the JEE Main official website 3 days before the exam date. Once the download link gets activated, candidates can download their admit card using the below-mentioned steps

• Open the JEE Main 2025 official website
• Click on JEE Main admit card download link
• Login using application number and password/date of birth
• Link to download admit card will be displayed on screen
• Download and take its printout

NTA JEE Main 2025 admit card session 1 will have details of exam date and time, reporting time, address of the exam centre, photo and signature of candidate, paper for which appearing and instructions to be followed by candidates at the exam centre.

NTA has issued detailed guidelines for JEE Mains dress code 2025 in the information brochure. Candidates appearing in the exam must follow all the JEE Mains 2025 dress code instructions. Candidates must adhere to the below-mentioned points for the dress code of JEE Main 2025.

• Candidates must not wear any cloth having metallic items.

• Candidates are not allowed to wear a cap/ muffler or any cloth over their heads.

• Wearing any kind of jewelry or ornaments is strictly prohibited.

• Candidates must not wear goggles, rings, bracelets, or any of such items.

Highlights of Candidate Entry inside Exam Centre

1. The security guards will checked every candidate thoroughly at the time of entry inside the exam centre.
2. Before entering the exam hall, the invigilator at the JEE Main Exam Centre will check and verify the candidate details mentioned in JEE Main admit card and validate it with the photo ID proof.
3. After reaching the exam hall, candidates admit card will be checked again. The invigilator will ask candidate to put their left hand thumb impression in the attendance sheet and photograph of candidates will be submitted.
4. Candidates will then be directed to their designated seat where they will appear for the exam.

JEE Main 2025 Admit card is a very important document that every candidate has to carry on the exam day to the test centre. It is to be noted that candidates are not allowed to appear in the exam without a JEE admit card 2025. Candidates can check more information below about how to download the JEE Main 2025 admit card and other important details related to exam day.

Candidates need to carry the following items to the exam centre.

1. Admit card,
2. One passport-size photo
3. Any one photo ID proof among Aadhar/PAN/Driving License/Voter ID
4. Medical certificate by PwD/PwBD candidates availing scribe service

Any other item will not be allowed inside the centre. Some exam centres have the facility of luggage room where candidates can place their belongings like bag, books or any eatables. However, it is advised that candidates must not carry anything other than the allowed items

Note: For BArch paper, candidates must bring their own geometry set, colour pencils, erasers and pencils. No watercolours are required

Special Provision for Diabetic Students

The authority allows eatables and drinks including water bottles inside the exam centre for diabetic patients. The concessions are given to diabetic candidates keeping their health conditions in mind. Diabetic students must carry the following things inside the examination hall:

• Fruits

• Sugar tablets

• Transparent water bottle

Note: Candidates will not be allowed to carry packaged foods such as chips/chocolate/sandwiches etc.

Candidates are not allowed to carry any of the prohibited items inside the exam centre. If any candidate is found hiding prohibited item inside the exam hall, strict action would be take against the candidate. Items which are not allowed inside exam centre are

• Pencil/Geometry Box or any other stationery
• Handbag
• Purse
• Any kind of paper or printed material
• Eatables and Water (loose or packed)
• Electronic items and instruments such as Mobile Phone, Ear Phone, Microphone, Pager, Calculator
• Instruments such as DocuPen, Slide Ruler, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder
• Any type of watch including electronic watches with a calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets/ devices in the examination hall/room

NTA will notify exam day instructions to candidates through the JEE Mains 2025 hall ticket. Candidates should check all the exam day guidelines mentioned in their JEE Main 2025 admit card and adhere to them. All exam day guidelines for candidates are listed below.

• JEE Main aspirants will not be allowed to carry any item other than those mentioned on the admit card.

• Blank paper sheets for rough work will be provided in the examination room

• Candidates must write their name and roll number at the top of the sheet and return the sheets and admit card to the Invigilator, before leaving the examination hall

• Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits and transparent water bottles to the examination hall/room. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolates/candy/sandwiches, etc.

• Candidates will have to sit on the seat allocated to them

• Candidates will be allowed to appear at the allotted venue of the test only

• Wearing a watch inside the exam hall is not allowed

• No candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre once the exam starts

• Candidates without an admit card will not be allowed to appear for the exam

• Leaving the exam hall before closure/end of the exam is not permitted

• Request for change in JEE Main 2025 exam centres will not be entertained

JEE Main city intimation slip 2025 will be released around one week before the exam. The city intimation slip will have details about the exam city and date of exam. Candidates can download their JEE Main exam city slip by login to the website. 

The NTA releases exam city slip to inform the candidates about the city in which their exam centre is located. It helps candidates to plan their travel in advance and make arrangements accordingly.  The admit card is released after the release of the exam city slip.

Candidates might face difficulty in downloading the JEE Main admit card 2025 from the website. In such a situation, candidates should try downloading it after some time. If the issue in downloading the admit card is due to an incorrect application number or password, candidates should check their email to find the correct application number. If the candidate has forgotten his/her password, they can reset it through the JEE Main official website “Forgot Password” facility.

How to Recover JEE Main 2025 Password

In case candidates forget their password, they can follow the steps below to reset the password.

• Visit the official website of JEE Main 2025

• Click on the “Forgot Password” link

• Answer the security question

• A verification code will be sent to the registered mobile number

• A password reset link will be sent to the registered email ID

• Click on the reset password link and create a new password

• Remember the new password

• Login to the admit card link by using the new password

• Download the JEE Main admit card

JEE admit card 2025 might contain some errors or discrepancies in the information mentioned. These could be related to the candidates' details or information related to test centres. To prevent any problem on the exam day due error in the admit card, students first should check the following details carefully:

• Name

• Paper

• Date of birth

• Gender

• Test centre name

• City

• State code of eligibility

• Category

Reporting discrepancies in JEE Main admit card is necessary. To report the discrepancy, candidates need to write a mail to jeemain-nta@gov.in. Candidates with incorrect data on their admit cards will not be allowed to appear in the exam in case they have not reported the issue to NTA. Also, NTA will not be able to make any corrections at later stages.

• The National Testing Agency, in no case, will issue duplicate JEE Main admit cards at test centres

• Candidates are requested to keep the admit card safe and not mutilate it or change any entry made therein

• The admit cards are to be preserved in good condition for all future reference

• The admit card will not be issued to aspirants whose applications are incomplete.
