Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering.

Placements: In my college, all students who were able to attend placements are achieving placements from the college itself. The highest and the lowest placements vary a lot. For instance, the top package was 34 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. TCS, Wipro, Infosys are recruiters always.

Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with all needed infrastructure and does not need any extra facilities from outside. The staff is also very supportive and well-knowledgeable. They are at your need if you are courageous and approach them well.

Faculty: The course curriculum was according to KTU before, but now it has changed in accordance with the autonomy of TKM College. Also, many industrial attachments are now being carried out and many MOUs are being signed in accordance with being industry-equipped.

Thangal Kunju Musaliar - The legacy.

Placements: Majority of students who have completed their degree with all papers cleared and desired a placement are placed at one or another company. The highest salary package offered is around 35 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA. TCS and Wipro are major recruiting companies.

Infrastructure: Good level of infrastructure is there in college, not at the top level but will meet standards. This college feels bit congested. It has the highest student intake at KTU while is not at any of this college in large area or campus.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Many of the course staff will be guest faculty members and permanent staff are well knowledgeable. They have great experience in terms of industry knowledge. They are always helpful to students at any time and will help them always.

College is good and worth it.

Placements: Placements offered within the college by different companies are average. But they are not worth it after studying for 4 years. The highest package offered last year was 13 LPA, and the average package was 6 LPA. Almost all students, except some, were placed from the college.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is great. It is small compared to other top government colleges in Kerala, but the buildings and infrastructure are great. Well-equipped labs are provided with idea labs for innovative projects, etc. Hostels also have free Wi-Fi for 1st years, and the mess food is also decent.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very helpful, and their teaching quality is also good. They are all highly qualified. Ph.D. guest lecturers also come for taking classes. The curriculum is a bit hard as it has more theory rather than practical knowledge and workshops. Semester exams are easy to score.

Placements: Around 70% students were placed. The highest package, internships with job opportunities, were provided by some companies like IQVIA. Top roles offered were Facility Manager, MEP Engineer, and Systems Designer. All students placed are happy with the opportunities received.

Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and a good team of faculty to train the students with the needs of today and the best curriculum offered by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU). Free Wi-Fi is provided in hostels and the campus. Hostel facilities are adequate and the food is of good quality.

Faculty: The faculty is very helpful and accessible to the students, highly knowledgeable, and the teaching quality is top-notch. The curriculum is as per the needs of today's demand and is provided by KTU and AICTE. Semester exams are those which evaluate the students' knowledge in the course, and the pass percentage stands between 60 to 80.

Other: I chose this course out of passion, and the course provided meets the demands of the emerging sphere. The college is well known for extracurricular and social activities, with the annual techno-cultural fest, HESTIA, conducted by students and faculty, having over 30,000 footfall.

Placements: 50% students are placed every year in our college. The average package offered in our course is 4-5 LPA. Top recruitment companies of our college are TATA, Infosys, Technopark, etc. Over 70% of the students got internships in our course which were very helpful.

Infrastructure: Our college provides one of the best facilities in all of Kerala. We have a library with a vast collection of books, magazines, articles, etc. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors for virtual learning, and the labs are all equipped with new technology and equipments. The hostel facility is top notch providing very tasty and healthy hygienic food. The college also organizes sports days, tournaments, matches, etc.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable, qualified and experienced but a majority of them are rude, rash and very strict towards the students to a point that it is unbearable. The semester exams in the college are medium difficult, they are neither too hard nor too easy as the teachers assist us.

Placements: College placements at NIT are up to the mark. We have to look out and approach other off-campus placement companies with good skills for better packages. The highest package offered for the department in the previous year was 13 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college has a very good infrastructure and well-maintained labs and other facilities are available. Labs and workshops are equipped with fully functional machines and tools. The air-conditioned central library is also there. Hostel facilities are also decent. The food quality is good.

Faculty: College faculty members are great. They are all very helpful and supportive. Most of them are highly qualified, too. The course curriculum is different from the regular KTU syllabus as the college is autonomous. Semester exams are hard but they are also scorable.
