Project Management Professional (PMP)®
The PMP certification certifies that the person has in-depth knowledge of the best practices proposed by the PMI and included mainly in the PMBOK Guide standard. To qualify for the PMP certification, candidates must have at least three years of project management experience and complete a project management course with a minimum of 35 hours of instruction.
Program Management Professional (PgMP)®
The PgMP qualification validates competence to manage complex programmes and situations. It is designed for senior programme managers or project managers with years of experience who coordinate multiple interrelated projects. It requires 6,000 hours of experience in program and project management, equivalent to approximately 4 years.
Portfolio Management Professional (PfMP)®
It internationally certifies professionals with proven experience and in-depth knowledge in project portfolio management as a mechanism for implementing corporate strategy and optimizing organizations' value. To achieve this certification, you must have 6,000 hours of experience in portfolio management and at least 8 years of overall experience in your field.
Certificate Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
This credential certifies the professional's knowledge of best practices in project management. To qualify for the CAPM certification, candidates must have a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma or its equivalent, and complete at least 23 hours of formal project management education.
PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®
The PMI-ACP certificate formally recognizes knowledge of agile principles and proficiency with agile techniques. It covers many agile approaches, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, Extreme Programming (XP), or Test-Driven Development (TDD). It is suitable for senior project managers and programme managers. It requires at least 2,000 hours of experience working on projects and 1,500 hours of experience applying agile methods.
PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)®
PMI-RMP validates the professional's ability and skills to identify and manage risks and opportunities in large projects or complex environments. This qualification is aimed at specialists in risk management in projects or programs. To qualify for the PMI-RMP certification, candidates must have at least 3,000 hours of experience, specifically in project risk management and complete at least 30 hours of formal project management education.
PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA)®
The PMI-PBA® certification focuses on the skills necessary to analyze and manage project business requirements. This credential suits project or program managers who also engage in business analysis. To qualify for the PMI-PBA certification, candidates must complete a business analysis training program that includes at least 35 hours of coursework. Additionally, they must demonstrate significant experience, specifically 4,500 hours in business analysis and 2,000 hours working on project teams.
PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)®
The PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP)® certification is aimed at professionals who specialize in developing and managing project schedules. This credential validates an individual's knowledge and experience using tools and technologies to create effective team schedules. To qualify for the PMI-SP certification, candidates must have at least 3,500 hours of experience, specifically in schedule management and complete a training course that includes a minimum of 30 hours of instruction.
