Estonian Business School Highlights
Established on 8th December 1988, Estonian Business School (EBS) came into being through the joint efforts of Professor Madis Habakuk, Professor Rein Peterson, Ilmar Martens, and Professor Marshall Fitzgerald. It is the Baltic’s' oldest private business institution. On 1st September 2011, it established its subsidiary in Helsinki, Finland. It was Estonia's first educational institution to offer a diploma in business education. The business school holds the accreditation of the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), the Estonian Agency for Quality in Higher Education and Vocational Education (EKKA) and the Central and East European Management Development Association (CEEMAN). It holds the membership of EURAXESS Estonia, the Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA). The business school consists of seven academic centers and departments.
EBS has two campuses; one in Tallinn, Estonia and the other in Helsinki, Finland. Both campuses feature the first-rate infrastructure and provide a plethora of academic, administrative and recreational amenities to the students. They are designed to offer exceptional practical training, along with theoretical education. The campuses provide a great learning atmosphere to facilitate efficient teaching.
EBS offers bachelor's, masters and doctoral courses in various disciplines of business and management. It also has a high school, EBS Gümnaasium, which provides high school education to students from 10th to 12th class and a Management Training Centre called EBS Juhtimiskoolituse Keskus, which offers various training and development programs. The institution houses 1,400 students, including 30% of international students from 12 countries across the globe. It is home to 140 highly-qualified lecturers, 20% of which are from abroad. EBS has collaborations with more than 60 academic institutions across 30 countries around the world, including Europe, Argentina, Canada, Australia, China, Japan, Georgia, Mexico, South Africa, Russia, and South Korea.
