Course details

Who should do this course?
  • For engineers
What are the course deliverables?
  • About the physical processes which drive aeroelastic phenomena
  • To formulate and solve aeroelastic response and instability problems
  • To identify strengths and weaknesses of different aerodynamic and structural models for the analysis of a given aeroelastic condition
  • To be familiar with the role of aeroelasticity in aircraft design
  • To be able to carry out aeroelastic calculations using software
More about this course
  • Aeroelasticity is the investigation of the interactions between structural dynamics and the unsteady aerodynamic airflow over the structure
  • This area is becoming increasingly important, especially for the design of next-generation aircraft: the interaction between structures and aerodynamics has a significant influence on the design and weight of the airframe as well as its aerodynamic performance
  • This course explores the most important aeroelastic phenomena and will be of value to professionals working in the design and production of aircraft and helicopter components, wind turbine and other aerodynamic structures

Delft University of Technology is the best place to get success.
Tips: The university tends to provide global education. Our university often invites visiting professors from other countries, especially for specialized subject research. The university offers many extracurricular activities, including the freedom to choose personal activities. It also hosts a wide range of events. I have participated in many university events and even received a scholarship that provides a stipend for living expenses. I am very satisfied with my experience at this university.
