Professor Andrew Murray, Professor of Law
Andrew is a recognised global expert in information technology law and regulation and leads the LSE Department of Law's Law, Technology and Society research group. Andrew's principal research interests lie in regulatory design within cyberspace, particularly the role of non-state actors, the protection and promotion of human rights within the digital environment and the promotion of proprietary interests in the digital sphere, encompassing both intellectual property rights and traditional property models.
Associate Professor Orla Lynskey, Associate Professor of Law
Orla Lynskey is an Associate Professor, having joined LSE Law in 2012 and a Visiting Professor at the College of Europe. She teaches and conducts research in the areas of data protection, technology regulation, digital rights and EU law. She holds an LLB (Law and French) from Trinity College Dublin, an LLM in EU Law from the College of Europe (Bruges) and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. Prior to completing her doctorate, she worked as an academic assistant at the College of Europe (Bruges) and in public and private competition law practice in Brussels.
