Learn to identify, analyze and critically review American history and contemporary issues through the experiences of people of color
Focus on the theory/practice of resistance and social movements
Receive hands-on experience using community studies philosophies, strategies and methods

This course offers an interdisciplinary exploration of the diverse histories, cultures, and experiences of ethnic and racial groups
This course provides critical insights into the complexities of identity, power dynamics, and social movements within multicultural societies
In this course stduents will examine the historical development and theoretical frameworks of ethnic studies, including key concepts such as intersectionality, colonialism, racism, and resistance movements
