About Trine University
Trine University was established in 1884 as Tri-State Normal College and got its current name in 2008. It was done to honor Drs. Ralph and Sheri Trine who were trustees of the university. Some of the historical facts about Trine University are given as follows:
- In 1902, the School of Engineering at Trine University was established as one of the best undergraduate engineering schools in the USA.
- Later in 1906, the school was reorganized from Tri-State Normal College and renamed to Tri-State College.
- Trine University is located in Angola, Indiana, and boasts a 450-acre main campus that has everything students would need.
