The Master of Science in Foresight prepares students to enter an emerging professional field helping clients and employers anticipate significant changes that lie ahead and to influence those changes to achieve long-term goals
Professional futurists emphasize systemic and transformational change as opposed to traditional forecasters and planners who focus on incremental change based on existing conditions and trends
Since long-term predictive forecasts are rarely correct, futurists describe alternative plausible and preferable futures, in addition to the expected future

Conditional Admission offered by Graduate College of Social Work- If the cumulative GPA is below a 3.0, the last 60 hours GPA may be considered instead. Applicants with grade point averages of less than 3.0 in both cumulative and last 60 hours will be considered for conditional admission. Other schools may also offer the conditional admission.
