Alagappa University has announced the in-house entrance exam dates. The university will conduct the exam for MBA programmes on Jun 2, 2024. To appear for the exam, it is important that the candidates register and complete the application procedure. As per an official notice, the last date to apply for MBA at Alagappa University is May 27.

Candidates seeking admission to Alagappa University admission to a full-time MBA must have a valid score in either CAT or TANCET. Going as per past year trends, cut off for Alagappa University must be around 6291 for the TANCET score, 60 percentile for CAT. PhD is the short form of Doctor of Philosophy and to be eligible, the students are required to have completed their Master’s degree. Aspirants need to possess a valid master’s degree to be eligible to pursue a PhD course. Candidates can pursue a PhD programme in any stream. In a PhD course, aspirants need to select a topic or a subject and do in-depth research on it and answer any queries related to the topic/ subject. 

The PhD duration in India is between 3 years and 6 years that depends on your research area and institute requirements (if any).

The passing minimum marks in Alagappa University exam is 40% out of 25/15 marks in theory papers. A minimum of 40% out of 40/10* marks is required in practical exams. 

The passing minimum for university exams shall be 40% out of 75/ 60*marks for Theory papers and 40% out of 60/40* marks) for Practical papers.

Alagappa University provides various undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate and doctoral-level programmes in the fields of Arts, Management, Commerce, Science, Management, Education, etc. Some of these courses include MBA, MSc, BSc, BBA, MA, BVoc, BEd, BCom, etc. The duration of these courses ranges between one-five years. Candidates must complete Class 12 to apply for UG courses. Graduation is the minimum requirement for PG programmes.

No, Alagappa University BSc course admission is merit-based. Candidates are admitted to the UG programmes based on merit in the last qualifying examination, i.e., Class 12. The university or its affiliated colleges may release a cutoff list to declare the minimum aggregate.

However, for the BSc in Nautical Sciences course, candidates shall have a valid score of IMUCET. This programme is offered by Coimbatore Marine College. Also, admission to BSc in Physical Education course is done based on candidates performance in the Medical Test, Physical Efficiency Test, and Games Test marks.

Alagappa University PhD application form are generally released in July month of the admission year. The application deadline is August as per the past years' data. The university shall release 2024 application form soon for PhD courses.

Alagappa University BCom graudates can either opt for higher studies or desired job profile. The graduates can opt for MCom programme as well, as it is an enhanced version of the UG course.
