Alagappa University MBA course admission is entrance-based. Aspirants can participate in the entrance exam conducted by the university or national-level exams. Some of the national-level exams accepted by the university are CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/TANCET. Candidates shortlisted based on exam score need to go through group discussion and personal interview round. PhD is the short form of Doctor of Philosophy and to be eligible, the students are required to have completed their Master’s degree. Aspirants need to possess a valid master’s degree to be eligible to pursue a PhD course. Candidates can pursue a PhD programme in any stream. In a PhD course, aspirants need to select a topic or a subject and do in-depth research on it and answer any queries related to the topic/ subject.

Yes, Alagappa University reserves 5% of seats for the differently-abled students (Government Letter No.12599/K2/2017-1, dated 21.07.2017). The university also allot seats as per the reservation policy of the Government of Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the seat intake varies depending upon the BA course mode of study, college, and category of the candidate. However, for the BSc in Nautical Sciences course, candidates shall have a valid score of IMUCET. This programme is offered by Coimbatore Marine College. Alagappa University MA fee varies depending upon the chosen specialisation/college/mode of study. The total tuition fee for the PG-level programme range between INR 7,700 and INR 60,300. In addition, the total fee will include other fee components as well, such as security deposit, registration fee, and more. Candidates have to pay some amount of the total fee for seat confirmation.
