My first-semester review is very authentic so don't expect too much.
Placements: Placements are not great. The amount of students getting placed is also not much. We have to work hard to brush up our skills and gain lot of knowledge about the field to get one. The maximum salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is pretty nice. Wi-Fi facility is available on campus with no limit. Classrooms and labs are fine. Library is very nice with more than 2,00,000 books. Reading hall is very good and provides air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned. Newspapers and magazine sections are also there. Hostel is also fine. There are 4 people in a room. It has 24-hour water and electricity facility. Mess is also fine and affordable and the price is very reasonable. There is a health center with good facilities like (blood tests). Good sports facilities are available including tennis, badminton court, and gym. Overall infrastructure is nice.
Faculty: Faculty members are fine. Curriculum is very similar to any other university. We can find videos online and we have to study for a week to score good marks. But a lot of students get re-exam so we have to study and fill up lots of pages to get passing marks.
Other: If we score high rank in exam and want to choose a government university or college over a private college then we can consider this university.

Placement rate is too high.
Placements: The placement rate at GJU is very high. Around 70% of students secured internship opportunities in top companies. The highest salary package can go up to 75 LPA, while the minimum package offered to students is 12 LPA. Top companies visit the university to provide placement and internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure at Maharshi Dayanand University are really good. The university provides a free Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are neat, clean, and well-maintained. There is also a big library in the university, where almost every book is available.
Faculty: Teachers at GJU are well-qualified, with some holding Ph.D.s and others having M.Tech degrees. They are very helpful. Course curriculum is relevant and makes students to be industry-ready. However, the level of semester exams is quite tough, but one can score very good marks by studying hard and regularly.

The placement scenario at the college is disappointing.
Placements: The college placement process has been disappointing. Students feel that the support and opportunities provided are inadequate. There seems to be a lack of effective connections with the industry and sufficient preparation for job interviews. Overall, the experience has not met our expectations.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is commendable, with well-maintained facilities and resources. However, the hostel accommodation is a significant issue, as not all students are allotted a place. This situation creates challenges for those who rely on campus housing.
Faculty: Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive, providing excellent guidance to students. However, others lack engagement and teaching effectiveness, which can hinder the learning experience. There is an odd-even semester system, and students who receive reappear exams suffer a lot.
Other: No fests, no sports meet. Some faculty members are highly knowledgeable and supportive, providing excellent guidance to students. However, others lack engagement and teaching effectiveness, which can hinder the learning experience. There is an odd-even semester system, and students who receive reappear exams suffer a lot.

Review of CRM Jat College.
Placements: The requirement percentage for students must be above 50 percent. Mine percentage was 84%, and I easily got admission in this college from SC candidates, but for general category there is a struggle for admission No party or any special celebration is there; that is bad.
Infrastructure: Canteen is super perfect; food is so good. Highly recommended. No Wi-Fi for students. None of the special facilities; the library is so bad; nothing new; nothing good. Labs are dirty—not really clean. Medical facilities are very poor. Little sports celebrations are there.
Faculty: Teachers are so good. Some are very connected to students easily and are very knowledgeable. Good at communicating with other students. Exams are not that difficult, nor are assignments. Different passing percentages are required.
Other: I like this college from the start.

Q:   Is MCA at GJUST worth the investment?

A:
{Source: MCA students & alumni}

Here's a summary of the key points:

* Teaching Quality: Most teachers were helpful, but 23 out of 50 were rude. Teaching quality was okay, and the course curriculum was up-to-date. However, semester exams were average, and online studies during COVID-19 were challenging.
* Placements: 30% of students got placed, with the highest package being INR6 LPA and the lowest being INR2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Quinbay and Cloud Certitude. A significant number of students faced difficulties due to the mismanagement of placements caused by COVID-19.
* Infrastructure: The hostel was good, with facilities such as Wi-Fi, clean water, and clean floors. The canteen was nearby, but food quality was not great. Students who did not live in hostels preferred to eat outside. The library was vast, and classrooms were well-maintained.
* Campus Life: The campus was lively, with many events organized, including visits by famous personalities. Scholarship processes could be improved.

Overall, while MCA at GJUST may not be perfect, it still offers a good educational experience. Here are the pros and cons to consider:

Pros:

* Good teaching quality (except for a few teachers)
* Up-to-date course curriculum
* Decent placements
* Well-maintained infrastructure

Cons:

* Rude teachers (minority)
* Average semester exams
* Mismanagement of placements during COVID-19
* Limited recruitment opportunities
* Food quality issues in the canteen
* Needs improvement in scholarship processes
