M.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2024

Overall best University for M.Sc. in Botany Course.
Placements: Almost 86% of students progress through our study. The maximum wage offered is 32 LPA. The average pay ranges from 9 LPA to 17 LPA. The minimum wage offered is from 2 to 6 LPA. Top recruiting firms include Arcadis, Mahyco, and DuPont Pioneer. Many students received internships through our college. Top positions available include horticulturist, florist, and others.
Infrastructure: My college's facilities are quite intriguing and great. The classrooms are good, and the library is peaceful. I did not stay at the hostel because I live outside, so I am unsure of its quality. Sports and games, together with strong diets and medicine, are beneficial.
Faculty: My teachers are helpful, qualified, and informed. The teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is adequate, and it does prepare students for jobs. Exams at the university are challenging; there are no straightforward questions, so we must prepare thoroughly in order to achieve a high score. The pass rate is 45%.

B.A. (Hons.) in Geography - Batch of 2025

Glimpses of Viva Bharati Bolpur Shantiniketan.
Placements: Placement at Viva Bharati is not so much developed. In the Department of Geography, Vidya Bhavan, placement does not take place as it is a B.A. course, so there is no placement for geography students. Somehow in other departments like Vinay Bhavan, which is the sports and education department, placement happens with the least package.
Infrastructure: In the Department of Geography, the facilities of Wi-Fi and labs are very much good and well developed. The classrooms are well furnished and air-conditioned. The library and the overall institute are good, and the library is very much better. In the department, there is a seminar hall, and the ex-building is our own Padma Bhavan, which also includes the Department of Geography, Department of History, Department of Ancient History, and Department of English.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful in nature, and curricular activities like seminars happen regularly (e.g., there are professors who take us to Japan, the US, and many more) just to increase the students' mindset. Exams are also organized regularly as it is a home university, so the exams are conducted at our university itself.
Other: The campus life of this university is very much different from other universities as it is located in Shantiniketan, Bolpur, West Bengal. There is a rich culture of its own; it has its own heritage culture, and this university has been recognized by UNESCO as the world's living heritage complex and university. It plays an important role in India. It is also a central university. The cost of living and the cost of study are also very much affordable as there is a hostel for living. The departments are very near the hostel, so it might take 5 to 10 minutes to walk there.

World Heritage Institute that will make your college life memorable forever.
Placements: No, there are no placement facilities. But, if a student wants a recommendation for doing internships, professors help a lot. The professors' recommendations are very good. For a Ph.D. student, their guide helps a lot to get better opportunities after Ph.D.
Infrastructure: The department buildings are very good, and there's a good seminar hall, separate classrooms for each batch. ACs are available in the classrooms. There's a computer lab, which is sufficient for this course. Hostel facilities are available for students whose homes are more than 40 km away. The university provides unlimited Wi-Fi for each student and staff, and the network speed is very good. 24/7 electricity is available. Hostels are like 3-star hotels, and the hostel food is rated 3.5/5.
Faculty: The faculty members are very friendly and help a lot to build up a good career. They guide their Ph.D. students very well and help them get better opportunities after Ph.D. Semester exams are moderate to hard, but classes are conducted very well.
Other: The course is for students who want to go deep into the core subject. If there were placement facilities, it would be good for a few students. There are lots of events that are famous worldwide, and people from other countries visit here for festivals. Some events include Posh Utsob, Basanto Utsob, and Nandon Mela. The campus is always crowded, and there are many sports activities like cricket and football tournaments. The alumni network is very impressive, and alumni are spread all over the world, with Amarty Sen being one of them. Scholarships are also available on campus for all students. Library facilities are excellent, and there are many playgrounds for indoor and outdoor games.

So, I only say that the institute is good.
Placements: There is no student who is placed in my course. Placement is not offered in this course. So, no one is placed. There is no company for recruiting. There are many courses like Algebra Analysis, ODE, Probability Theory, Linear Algebra in my course.
Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very amazing in this university. There are many boys' & girls' hostels on the campus. There is a separate hostel for Ph.D. students. Also, for each Bhavana, there is a hostel. So, in my opinion, the hostel facility is really good in this university.
Faculty: The faculty members for my course are very good, and they are very helpful. Every professor in my department is renowned. They are very helpful and helped me in my studies by giving me various books and other things. Also, they helped with my financial problems for education. So, in my opinion, the faculty members are very helpful.
Other: Actually, from my childhood, I was interested in doing mathematics and thinking about various problems in mathematics. So, after completing my higher secondary, I thought about graduation in mathematics. So, I chose this course.

Satisfied with the faculty of this university.
Placements: At Viva Bharati University, our course students were getting average placement opportunities. Only 20u201325% of the students get placed in our course. The average package offered was between 2 and 4 LPA. The college did not have highly developed placements. At our college, students were not getting placement opportunities.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Viva Bharati was old, but it was well maintained. The campus of the college was big and had all the required facilities for the students. Wi-Fi, labs, canteens, libraries, etc. Facilities were available on the campus. A hostel facility was also available for the students. Facilities in the hostel were of average quality.
Faculty: The faculty of the college is really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable about our course. The professors at the college were experienced, and they were teaching us well. The course curriculum followed at the college was relevant. Exams at the college were on a semester basis but were easy to pass. Various extracurricular activities are organized by the faculty for the students' upliftment.

For a Bachelor in fine arts you should have done your 12th with a recognised board and an arts background is preferred but it is not mandatory and if you want to go for a Master in these colleges you have to do your BA or BSF from a recognised college.
