Satisfied with the university, excellent faculty.
Tips: Personally there was no cultural shock to me as I come from a similar type of hometown. There were no scholarships offered to me from the Northeastern University. Very much satisfied with the university however the course information systems could be better.

My perspective is that it's too crowded
Tips: 1. The cultural fit is not challenging as all the students and most of the faculty for Masters are Indians. 2. As far as I know there are no scholarships. 3. Selecting courses and faculty and planning your day and semester is very crucial. Assignments while being heavy can be very beneficial if done independently.
Likes (Public transportation): Trains and buses are available in frequent intervals within proximity all over the city with 2$ minimum fare. Redeye is a free cab service available at the Boston campus from evening 6 to morning 6 within a range of 2 miles from the college library but heavy wait times.
Dislikes (Part time work): 1. Campus is overcrowded with students and there are very limited on-campus jobs. 2. Part-time are manageable and completely depend on the individual and workplace. 3. Average payout is 13-18$ RSO, TA, IA, RA, Marino, SquashBusters, Wollaston's, ITS are few part time jobs to look out for.

The best choice of my life.
Tips: Northeastern University is highly competitive, there are cultural shocks that you can encounter and different points. Scholarships at Northeastern University are hard to get but nevertheless, you can try to get one. I didn't get any scholarship. I am very happy with my choice and my courses at Northeastern University.
Likes (Value for money): The money is justified. As the courses are competitive and highly focused on domains. For every domain like cloud, data, and Front End. All the courses are taught by highly professional professors who have a lot of things to deliver and to learn from them is quite a thing.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): There are many companies available most of them being the MNCs. I don't have an exact idea about the job roles, salary and packages but the usual pay for a full-time job goes around 30 to 45 $ per hour. There are many roles like SDE, Data and UI/UX job prospectus.

Very good university at an excellent location
Tips: It was not that hard of a transition because there are many Indian students around you so you don't feel homesick but in the starting, I was missing home as there is a big cultural shift out here. Americans have a whole different way of living life, compared to us Indians but you get used to it. I did not avail of any scholarships. I am completely satisfied with the university, course, and the country.
Likes (Quality of faculty): The faculty is always available to clear your doubts and concerns via email and you can always reach out to them after the class if there is something that you don't understand. The teaching methodology is very practical and the faculty emphasises more on practical knowledge than theoretical knowledge which makes it easier for students to understand the concepts. There are professors from across the world, I have studied under professors from the US, India, China, Korea, and Germany.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of permanent settlement are very slim because the green card queue is really very long but there are other loopholes to settle in this country like working on an H1B visa and extending it every year. If given a chance, I would definitely settle here permanently because of the standard of living.
