Individuals with minimum one year programming experience in C, Java or an equivalent language in backend systems OR a degree level course in a C/Java Programming
Candidates experienced in Relational Database Management Systems with understanding of data schema, SQL queries and writing programs that access databases

Design and implement or configure specific capabilities of a Cloud infrastructure and platform services
Design and implement a Cloud native application prototype or migrate an existing solution
Design and implement the continuous lifecycle of an application from development, deployment to management and operations
Provide security recommendations for a given use case scenario
Compare fitment of various Cloud services given a specific application scenario and use such API-enabled services to build a solution
Design a cost optimized solution given a use case scenario, non-functional attributes of the solution and billing plans for various available services
M.Tech. Cloud Computing is a four-semester programme and is designed for working professionals to impart them with a thorough knowledge of Big Data, Distributed Computing, Network and Security in Cloud, building Cloud-native applications, Cloud Economics, and more
The programme makes use of simulation software, open source tools/frameworks and Public Cloud based deployment environments for hands-on labs and assignments
