Decent experience, struggled with placements, budget-friendly.
Placements: Not so many people got placed this year. Most of the placements come from the Computer Science branch, but you have to rely on campus placement mostly. The highest package was around 5.5 and the average package is 3. The top recruiting companies this year were Genus Power. The top roles offered from the college from the Computer Science branch are Developer and Graduate Engineer Trainee.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the college. There are large classrooms that are well-equipped with modern-day technology. The library is equipped with useful books and magazines. Hostels are only available for girls, which is inside the college campus. Food is average. Sports are Kabaddi and cricket, and there is a volleyball court. There is no cricket ground.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and helpful. They help in extracurricular activities other than studies. The course curriculum is relevant to the subject and stream, which makes students industry-ready. College-level exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is around 80%.

Waiting for my best, and my opinion is don’t depend on this college from the start.
Placements: So I am basically in 1st year, and after asking my seniors about my main thing, that is "placement," they told me that placement-wise this college is not so bad and not so good. In 2023, they said Google also came here for job offers, but they didn’t select anyone. Some companies like IBM, TCS, and Infosys come and students get jobs, but at not-so-good packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is good, not so bad, but the glasses are broken and some tables and chairs are dusty. The college network is strong, but only for the Jio network, and somewhere at the backside of the college, there is no network for any other. Now talking about the mess and hostel, this college doesn’t have a hostel and mess for boys; they have a hostel and mess for girls only, so I have to live in a nearby PG.
Faculty: Teachers are very informative, not so rude in nature, and well-qualified from well-known IITs like Bombay, etc. The curriculum of this college is very simple and well-managed, like the IITs, but they are strict about attendance. I have given midterms this time, and I am telling you, they are just copies of the previous year and trust me, they are very short and easy. Teachers only give 3 to 4 questions, and all are from the previous year's questions.
Other: So basically, I just want to tell you that you can take admission in this college, but get serious at the end semester for placement and always take part in extracurricular activities, workshops, contests, sports, etc. Professors are helpful in nature and have enough knowledge, but don’t argue with them and always be polite in nature to them. The bad thing is that your campus life is not as crowded as you think, and the mechanical engineering department of this college is overall the best in Rajasthan, except for IITs and NITs in Rajasthan.

Overall review of Government Engineering Ajmer.
Placements: Since I am a fresher, I don't have any idea regarding placements. But students do get on-campus placement opportunities. The highest package is 15 LPA, while the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA. Students with a good CGPA get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The campus is fully Wi-Fi equipped with average speed, and all the classes are equipped with Samsung smart boards and speakers. The library has all the books, but only old publications are available. New publication books are not issued in the library. Sports facilities are good in college, but the grounds are under construction and will be operational soon.
Faculty: All the teachers are at least postpostgraduate,s, while some of them are Ph.D. holders. Most teachers are well-experienced and well-qualified, but some are just average. I would rate the course curriculum 3/5, as I don't think it made the students industry-ready. Semester difficulty levels range from moderate to difficult.
Other: Hostels are not available for boys. Fests are not organized. Webinars, events, and seminars are organized on a regular basis using the latest technologies. The college is on the outskirts of Ajmer, so connectivity is very poor.

My college journey in Engineering College Ajmer.
Placements: Less than 20% took placement in recent years, with an average package of 2.5 lakhs. The highest is around 7 to 8 lakhs by Adani and L&T groups. The college doesn’t offer any internships for students, but NWR Loco Workshop Ajmer and Carriage Workshop offer internships for engineering training.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is kind of good. It has a land space of 300 acres, but only 50 acres of land is utilized for now. There are 3 big campus buildings for classes and labs, with a central courtyard, a separate building for the mechanical workshop, 13 girls’ hostels, and a separate library building, which is a good thing here. The college also has a guest house and sports facilities built in a different building, but there is no amphitheater for stage programs. The sports playground is very poor, and the connecting roads and paths are newly built.
Faculty: The teachers and faculty are very friendly here. They are supportive of all students. My personal experience with the mechanical department faculty was excellent. Teachers like Dr. Chandan Sharma and Dr. Tarun Aseri are very responsive to guidance. These two are also my project mentors. During my college project, they supported me with the necessary contacts, knowledge, and other information about engineering challenges for the project. They also provide us with room facilities on campus for easy communication between the project group and the mentor.

Good infrastructure, faculty members are good, and placements are average.
Placements: College campus is good, but transportation is not available. Professors are of friendly nature. Campus placement is average. The highest package is 12 to 15 Lacs per annum. The average package is 6 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, TCS, Hitachi, Infosys, Vi, and Aditya Birla Group.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good, although the main building is old but well-maintained. Campus is fully Wi-Fi-enabled, but the speed is not too good. Labs have enough equipment, the library is good, and the classrooms are equipped with digital boards. Sports facilities are not good in the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are supportive and very helpful, and are well-qualified. Exam curriculum is the same as Bikaner Technical University. Exams are regularly conducted, which have 2 midterms and an end semester exam at the end. 75 percent attendance is mandatory for the exams.

Good for core knowledge. Value for money if you get SFS seats.
Placements: Student with more than 6 CGPA got placed in our campus. As it depends on companies, it may change also. The highest package that was placed last year was 8-9 lakh per annum. The lowest package is of around 2-3 lakh per annum. On average, 30% of the students in my branch got placed in on-campus placements. The top companies that came to our campus are L&T, Adani Group, and Denso; all three usually come. As in our campus, in the first year, we have a 15-day internship, a 2-year 45-day internship, and a 3rd year 60-day internship; all of these internships are done by students themselves. The college doesn't provide this opportunity.
Infrastructure: On the name Infrastructure, there is nothing in our campus. There are 3-4 buildings, but they are not well maintained. Classrooms are average. There is a lack of classrooms, labs, and instruments. There is no proper sitting area in the campus. Hostel facilities are not good. There is no facility for boys’ hostels, and girls’ hostels don’t have proper facilities. Nothing is good in that. Facilities just lie to parents about their hostel facilities . Activities happen, but not at a higher level.
Faculty: Teaching of quality is good. Teachers are helpful and qualified also . Course curriculum is not relevant in satellite communication as it is an application of all subjects, but it is earlier in completing its prerequisites. SEMESTER exams are not tough, but they are not taken regularly; they always lag behind.
Other: I chose electronics and communication engineering because I had an interest in how networks work, how signals are sent and received. The best facilities are there in this branch. The course curriculum should be changed; it is outdated. Fests are never arranged; the college had its own auditorium.
