NTA released the JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 on October 28, 2024. The JEE Main 2025 registration date was October 28 to November 22, 2024. Aadhar enrollment number is a unique number which students can find in the acknowledgement receipt received at the time of applying for Aadhar. Students should know that Aadhar enrollment number is not same as Aadhar number. At the time of filling JEE Main application form, candidates have to fill Aadhar Enrollment number and not Aadhar number.

In case candidates do not have Aadhar enrollment number, students can apply through Passport, PAN or ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit ID).

Documents Required to Fill JEE Main 2025 Application Form

Candidates need to have certain documents which are required during JEE Mains registration 2025. The complete list of documents required to fill JEE Main 2025 application form is provided here

How to Fill JEE Main Application Form 2025

Candidates can check here a detailed guide to fill out the application form. Candidates must fill out the application form correctly as NTA rejects incorrect or incomplete application forms. 

Q:   When was the JoSAA 2024 registration process started?

A:

The dates for the JoSAA 2024 counselling were announced by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The  JoSAA 2024 registration started on June 10, 2024. The only candidates who can register for JoSAA counselling are those who meet the requirements for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced in 2024. Candidates can complete their course selections and institute online at josaa.nic.in, the JoSAA's official website. Candidates must finish the choice-filling procedure by selecting their preferred engineering streams and institutes after completing their JoSAA 2024 registration. JoSAA will assign seats to candidates based on their choices and the availability of seats in participating institutes.

Q:   Do I need to fill up separate application forms for each session of JEE Main 2025?

A:

Yes, Candidates who wish to appear in both the sessions of JEE Main 2025 need to fill application form separately for all sessions. However, the JEE Main registration need to be done only once. Candidates who applies for the first session of JEE Mains 2025 can use their login credentials while applying for the second session. During the second session application filling, candidates only need to enter details of paper for which appearing, exam centre preference and pay the application fees. Other details related to education, address, parents details documents uploaded are taken from the first session application process.

Candidates also have the option of filling the combined application form for both session 1 and 2 during session 2 application process.

Q:   I am not able to pay the fee for the JEE Main 2025 application form. What should I do?

A:

Candidates can face difficulty in payment of application fees due to various reasons like

  • Slow internet connectivity while paying the fees
  • Slow bank server
  • Insufficient balance in bank

In case any candiate faces issues while trying to pay JEE Main application fees, they should try paying the fees after some time. Candidates can also try logging out the application form process once and then try paying application fee again after logging in. JEE Main 2025 Registration Complete Procedure

The process of JEE Main Registration 2025 is an online process consisting of several steps. Candidates need to complete each step to apply for JEE Main 2025. Candidates can check here complete procedure to fill JEE Main 2025 application form

Candidates need to complete each step without which JEE Main registration will not be completed. After filling out the application form, candidates need to download and take its printout.

Step 1- JEE Main 2025 Registration

This is the first step in filling JEE Main application form. During JEE Main 2025 registration, candidates need to provide details about their name, email ID, and phone number. Candidates also need to create a log-in password of their choice which will be required for all future login. After the completion of the registration process, candidates will receive their JEE Main registration number in their email ID and mobile phone number.

Step 2- Fill JEE Main 2025 Application Form

After the completion of the registration process, candidates will need to fill in their details JEE Main application form. In this step, candidates will need to provide details about educational qualifications, parents' names, exam centre preferences, and other details.

Step 3- Upload Scanned Documents

Candidates will need to upload their scanned images of the passport size coloured photograph and signature. The dimension of scanned images has to be exactly as per the specifications specified by NTA.

Step 4- Pay Application Fees

Candidates need to pay the application fees online using Net Banking, Credit Card, Debit Card, UPI, or Paytm Services. The fees applicable for payment will depend on the category and gender of candidates. This is the last step in filling JEE Main application form. After the successful payment of the fee, JEE Main Registration 2025 will be completed. Candidates need to take a printout of their filled application form and keep it safe till the completion of the admission process.
