JEE Main Application Form 2025 Session 2: The National Testing Agency will release the JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Application form on January 31. NTA JEE Mains 2025 Registration last date session 2 is February 24, 2025. JEE Mains 2025 registration session 2 link is given below on this page.  The JEE Main 2025 Application Form link will also be available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in 2025.

Candidates who wish to apply for JEE Main 2025 Session 2 both can apply online. Candidates can check here for details on how to fill JEE Mains form 2025, application fees, last date to apply, and JEE Main eligibility criteria. Candidates who wish to appear in the exam must register for the JEE Main 2025 and submit the application form within the last date. JEE Main 2025 exam will be conducted in two sessions in January and April. NTA has released the JEE Main 2025 exam dates for both sessionsJEE Main 2025 exam date session 1 is January 22 to 30 while the second session date is April 1 to 8.

Documents Required for JEE Mains 2025 Registration?

Candidates should have the following documents with them when filling the form

  • Class 10 and 12 certificates
  • Category certificates (if applicable)
  • Credit/Debit Card or Internet banking details for payment of JEE Mains form fees

How to fill JEE Mains Application Form 2025?

The JEE Main 2025 application form can be filled by following the steps given below:

  1. Visit the JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.ac.in
  2. Click on "New Candidate Registration" link
  3. Fill the required details and create a password of your choice to register for the exam.

After registration, candidates will receive details of JEE Main Registration number and password in their mobile number and emails ID. Candidates need to login using their credentials to fill the JEE Main application form

Q:   When was the JoSAA 2024 registration process started?

The dates for the JoSAA 2024 counselling were announced by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). The  JoSAA 2024 registration started on June 10, 2024. The only candidates who can register for JoSAA counselling are those who meet the requirements for both JEE Main and JEE Advanced in 2024. Candidates can complete their course selections and institute online at josaa.nic.in, the JoSAA's official website. Candidates must finish the choice-filling procedure by selecting their preferred engineering streams and institutes after completing their JoSAA 2024 registration. JoSAA will assign seats to candidates based on their choices and the availability of seats in participating institutes.

How to fill JEE Main 2025 application form?

Below is the step-by-step procedure to fill JEE Mains 2025 application forms online on the official website of NTA:

Step 1: Registration

The registration process for JEE Main comprises the below-mentioned steps. Interested candidates, before filling the application form, should ensure that they meet the JEE Main eligibility criteria.

Fresh candidates applying for JEE Main 2025 need to register on the official website of the exam. Already registered candidates are not required to register on the website. Such candidates can sign in to JEE Main's official website with their old credentials. 

For new candidate registration:

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main - https://jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • Click on the online JEE Main 2025 application form

Step 2: Filling the online JEE Mains 2025 application form

Next, aspirants need to fill their personal, academic, and contact details in the JEE Main application form 2025 and note down system generated application number. They also have to create a password that will be used for future logins. Below are the details that the candidates should fill in the application form.

The schedule of JEE Main 2025 application form is available on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. NTA released the JEE Main application form 2025 session 1 on October 28, 2024. Candidates can check this page as well as the JEE Main website for regular updates on of JEE Main registration dates.

Q:   How can I check my status of JEE Main application form?

A:

When the application form is completely filled and submitted with fee payment, candidates receive the confirmation mail in their email address registered at the time of filling the form. Candidates can also check the status of their JEE Main application form by login to the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. After login, the status of the application form will show "Application Submitted" if the form has been accepted by the NTA. In case the application form is incomplete, the status message will show the step to be completed to submit the application form.

Q:   What is Aadhar Enrollment Number used in JEE Main Application Form?

A:

Aadhar enrollment number is a unique number which students can find in the acknowledgement receipt received at the time of applying for Aadhar. Students should know that Aadhar enrollment number is not same as Aadhar number. At the time of filling JEE Main application form, candidates have to fill Aadhar Enrollment number and not Aadhar number.

In case candidates do not have Aadhar enrollment number, students can apply through Passport, PAN or ABC ID (Academic Bank of Credit ID). 

Q:   When will NTA start JEE Main application correction facility?

A:

JEE Mains correction window 2025 will start on November 26 on the official website. The facility to make correction is available up to November 27, 2024. During the correction window, candidates are allowed to change/modify details filled in their application form. Candidates must note that not all fields in the application form will be open for correction. Only certain information like category, address of correspodance/permanent address, exam city preference, paper choice, photo, signature etc. can be modified. Candidates might also be required to pay additional fees for making corrections in certain fields. 

Q:   Is there any fee for making corrections in JEE Main Application form 2025?

A:

No, candidates need not pay any fees for making corrections in JEE Main application form. However, if any candidate changes his/her category from SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PWD to underserved category, they need to pay the difference in application fees. For making any other changes, candidates don't have to pay any fees. JEE Main correction window will be active in December after the application process is closed.

  • Exam - Choice of paper - 1 or 2 or both. Candidates must also select the preference of exam language in which they want to appear

  • Personal - Here candidates have to provide name, category, father's and mother's name, etc.

  • Communication - Candidates have to provide their residential and correspondence details. 

  • Choose Password - Enter the password and confirm the same
  • Security - Candidates have to enter security Q and A for further login on the website.

  • Review all the details before submitting the registration form. Review the page after entering creating the password, if any modifications are required candidates can do so by clicking on the edit option.

 

 

After registration, candidates have to complete the JEE Main 2025 application form
 

Review all the details and make all the changes/modifications required in the application form. A pop-up window asking the students for final submissions will be displayed. If clicked 'yes' candidates will have to proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Uploading scanned images

At this step, aspirants are required to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the specifications prescribed (as mentioned in the table below) 

Before filling JEE Main 2025 application form,  candidates should have a scanned image of his/her recent photograph and signature. These scanned images are to be uploaded during the submission of the application form. Here are some important details that candidates should remember before uploading the scanned photograph and signature.

  • The photograph should be coloured or black/white (but in clear contrast) with the name of the candidate and the date of taking the photograph printed on it.
  • The photograph should not have the candidate wearing a cap or sunglasses. Spectacles are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable.
  • Candidates with an unclear photograph will be rejected.
  • Candidates are advised to reserve 6-8 identical photographs for all future purposes including the seat allocation and admission process.

Step 4: Pay the JEE Main 2025 application fees

  • The candidates can pay the application fees in online mode only
  • For online payment, candidates can pay through Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/Paytm/UPI

JEE Main 2025 application fee has been raised for all categories and for both Indian and Outside India candidates. It must be noted that for candidates opting for a single paper and candidates opting for multiple papers, the application fee is different.

Step 4: Print the confirmation page

The last step is to take four printouts of the confirmation page, after the successful payment of JEE Main 2025 application fees. Candidates must keep this acknowledgment page till the admission process is over. This is how the JEE Main application form 2025 exam confirmation page will look like:

Candidates who successfully apply will be able to download JEE Main admit card 2025. Without the JEE admit card, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the examination.

JEE Main 2025 Application Form Correction

The NTA provided the facility of JEE Main application correction 2025 from November 26 to 27 to mak corrections in the application form. Candidates must note that only a few fields in the filled application forms can be edited during the correction window. It is thus advised to be careful while filling the application form and do not make any mistakes while filling details.
