Balanced experience with room for growth.
Placements: My course has a placement rate of around 85%, with top recruiters like Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. The highest package offered was 30 LPA, the lowest was 5 LPA, and the average package stood at 10 LPA. Around 70% of students secured internships, with companies like Zomato, OYO, and Accenture offering roles. The top roles offered include software developer, data analyst, and system engineer, with many students placed in teaching and software development positions. The overall placement experience was positive, with ample opportunities in both internships and full-time roles.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for my course includes well-equipped classrooms, modern computer labs with high-speed internet, and a dedicated library for research and study. The campus also has advanced software and hardware resources to support practical learning. The hostel facilities provide comfortable accommodation with basic amenities like Wi-Fi, mess services, and recreational space. However, there is scope for improvement in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and personal development, though there are occasional issues with space and Wi-Fi connectivity.
Faculty: The faculty for my course is highly qualified and knowledgeable, with many professors holding advanced degrees and industry experience. They are generally helpful and approachable, providing guidance both inside and outside the classroom. The teaching quality is good, with a mix of theoretical and practical approaches. The course curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, covering key topics in Computer Science and Engineering, making students industry-ready. However, there? is room for more real-world project integration. Semester exams are moderately difficult, testing both conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. The pass percentage is typically high, around 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course due to my passion for technology and problem-solving. The best aspects include a strong curriculum, industry-relevant projects, and exposure to emerging technologies. However, I wish there was more focus on hands-on learning and real-world applications. The campus has a vibrant atmosphere with numerous events and fests and a diverse crowd. While extracurricular activities are engaging, campus connectivity and Wi-Fi could be improved. Scholarships are available but limited, and overall, the college provides a good balance of academics and extracurricular experiences, though there's room for improvement in practical exposure.

Really very beautiful campus.
Placements: About 30% of students from our 2025 batch are placed on campus. The highest package is about 40 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. The average package is 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Nvidia, PwC, Amazon, Wipro, and Accenture. Around 50% of students got internships. Hopefully it will increase in the upcoming year.
Infrastructure: We have separate labs for electronics and computers and have all sports equipment and a beautiful ground with an athletics track around it. Our hostel rooms are some of the most beautiful rooms. They have everything: a bed, a study table, a spring mattress, and a cupboard, which are beautifully designed. We have Wi-Fi facilities all over the campus and the campus is well connected with Diu City because of the city bus. Our hostel warden has also allotted a vehicle to the students for any emergency situation. Every day, a doctor is available on the campus for the good health of the students. The campus is under CCTV surveillance 24/7.
Faculty: All the faculty members are well educated and supportive. It seems that they love what they do. The course curriculum is one of the best and makes a student very confident in every field. The semester exam seems to be of moderate level because of the good teaching abilities of the professors. The pass percentage is about 95%.
Other: I chose this course because it has a boost all over the world and many job opportunities are unlocked for this. There are many events happening in an academic year, like sports fests, cultural fests, and tech fests. All these events help to make a good relationship between seniors and juniors. In the sports event there are many different sports, but the best are cricket, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. Because in these sports, auctions are held to make a team, so the seniors and juniors all have a mixed team, and because of that, we enjoy a lot. Open mic is held alternate weekend.

IIIT Vadodara is a great option for a computer science enthusiast.
Placements: The lowest package for 2024 was around 5LPA and there were about 53 companies which visited this year. The placement percentage is greater than 55 percentage as of now( still on going). The average package stands around 11.34 LPA and highest went about 1.3 crore( off campus).
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is just fine. The classrooms are good, Air conditioned. The labs are great with wifi facility provided throughout the campus. There is a library to borrow books from. The faculty are really great. Coming to hostel, as of now there is no permanent hostel or campus so we are being kept at a hostel which is about 6 km from the campus. Bus facility would be provided by the campus itself. Mess food is okayish. Low availability of non veg food. Sports facilities aren't so great. Rest things are okay.
Faculty: The teachers are very much qualified, almost all of them have done their PhDs from IITs or prestigious universities of India. They are a great help when a student is in need. We have faculty advisor to whom we convey problems related to academics. The curriculum is set to the traditional engineering syllabus with some added courses which are really useful to make one industry ready. The difficulty of exams lie at a moderate range, rarely touch extremities.

Reasons why you should come to IIIT VADODARA.
Placements: The placements in our college are quite okay. They are not like that of top NITs and IIITs, but are still okay. The average package offered here is 14 lacs which is considerably good for a college of national importance. Students are also getting campus internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The best part about our college which makes it different from the other IIITs is it’s hostel and academic infrastructure. Being newly established, the hostel rooms and its furnitures are completely well maintained and are in a good condition. Also, there are water coolers at each floor which is a convenience for all the students.
Faculty: The course curriculum and other academics are quite similar to the other IIITs regarding the syllabus and the exam pattern. The faculty here is not top notch, but they are above average. They do not just perform their bare minimum job. Most of the teachers are interactive here.
Other: I would like to mention that the mess food is the worst thing about our college. You will be frustrated seeing the food quality here.

Comprehensive review of course and placements.
Placements: As of the graduation class of 2024, placement activities are ongoing, with a predominant focus on Software Development Engineer (SDE) roles. The average salary package ranging from about 11 to 13 Lacs, with the highest reported package being 33 Lacs. Currently, the leading recruiter is media. Net. Additional Adobe and Mathworks were active participants in hiring SDE roles offering competitive packages exceeding 35 LPA-44lpa.
Infrastructure: The hostel room provides ample amenities, featuring an attached bathroom and toilets for convenience. A strdy B.Ed is given for comfortable stay accompanied by well-equipped study table with drawer. Good enough almirah is also provided for an organised storage. Electricity and water are also full time ensuring comfortable stay. Room Wi-Fi as of now we have to get of our own mostly GTPL but that is well and good. Institute offers good Wi-Fi coverage in labs and classrooms which are also air conditioned. Labs have excellent computers which are up to date with modern teach setting.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, aiding both in placements and research endeavors. Their extensive knowledge benefits individuals, preparing them for market. The up to date curriculum aligns with industry standards. Semester exams are well structured, fostering self study for academic excellence. Being a IIIT it covers the broad spectrum of knowledge in IT field ensuring students are well-equipped for both professional pursuits and personal growth.

Satisfied with the hostel, but facilities are bad.
Placements: In this college, only the first session of placements has been done, and the second one is ongoing. In the first session, 60 to 70 percent of placements with an average of 9 LPA. The highest on-campus was around 26 LPA, and off-campus was 50 LPA. The lowest was 3 LPA. Recruiting companies come from the main campus in Gandhinagar. The internship percentage is around 40 to 50 percent.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is very slow, but the hostel rooms are good. Classrooms and labs are okay; some labs do not have sufficient components in the EC. The mess food is average, but it is too oily. There is no canteen now. For medical facilities, a doctor comes to campus once or twice every 2 to 3 weeks. The sports facilities are good, but the number of table tennis courts is very low.
Faculty: The teaching quality is just above average. Some faculty members are not up to the mark, but it is okay. The curriculum is from 2018, which might be old, but it is relevant, and we can say it is better than other colleges. Exams are above the medium level, and the pass percentage is around 80 percent.
Other: This is located in a remote area, so there is no theater in the city.

Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A: 

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

IIIT Allahabad accpets JEE Main score for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIIT Allahabad cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 5924 and 9558, among which Information Technology was the most competitive specialisation. The Round 1 closing rank for BTech ranged between 4817 and 8428 for BTech.
