Placement in our college for CSE and ECE are pretty decent but for branches like civil, mechanical, electrical and other lower branches it is not up to the mark.

Good hostel, food, and a lot of technical clubs and societies.
Placements: In my course, civil engineering, especially, there is a lack of skills among people, so there are very few placements in the civil branch. But the students of the civil branch are getting placements in tech/software fields. Recently, a civil engineering student got placed at Zomato in software.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is working well. The range is good. The library and hostel both have Wi-Fi. Labs are comparatively big and good. You get the required instruments in good condition at the chemistry lab, but in the physics lab, some of the setups are not working. Classrooms have good facilities but are comparatively smaller than IITs. But they have smart projectors, boards, and all other required facilities with AC. Even one of the buildings, which is newly made, now has excellent infrastructure. Siemens Hall is just awesome. It has the best computer lab, meditation room, and special vibes. The hostel for all girls has single-seater rooms and provides privacy.
Faculty: Yes, senior professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, especially for skills. Exams are not that difficult if you go for PYQ; you are easily able to score passing marks. The pass percentage can vary from subject to subject and as per their requirement in the course.
Other: Scholarship facilities are available. Many students get 1 lakh+ scholarship. The fest that is the DJ night in Confluence was awesome. Sports and NCC are always a priority. The surrounding environment is not much crowded, and students roam in college using cycles only. For students, bikes and all other vehicles are not allowed. Many food corners are available for food. The hotspot at the girls' hostel gives you food till midnight. Improvement should be done in the infrastructure of the college, and skills should be a priority instead of getting marks and CGPA.

Peaceful college, good environment, decent placement, better if the college was in a good city.
Placements: Currently, 60% of students from the Computer branch are placed, and the placement has improved from last year. For internships, it is even better, so possibly from next year, it will get better. The highest package is currently from Google, and the lowest is from Infosys. The average package is around 20 lakhs. Internships for our batch were not good; only some people got placed at MNCs, and most of them were girls who got off-campus placements. Most roles offered were for software developers.
Infrastructure: Hostel conditions are very bad. They are not renovated, and the washroom conditions are the worst. There is only one good hostel, but its food is bad, and one hostel has good food, but the toilets are very bad. Most of the time, the internet LAN doesn't work in the hostels, whereas the Wi-Fi on campus is superfast. The classrooms are in good condition, and AC works well in the summer. The library and reading rooms are great. There is a sports ground in the hostel, and for girls, many sports facilities are available. Not much for boys in the hostel, but they can go to the sports ground easily anytime.
Faculty: Teachers are quite qualified and very supportive. They understand students' needs properly, but the bad thing is that sometimes they ignore the doubts asked by students and just read PPTs. This is valid for only a few teachers, while others explain well. The course is good, and many things are taught apart from studies, which directly help with industry-level work or production-level code. Semester exams are quite tough, as there are two mid-sem exams and one end-sem exam.
Other: Coding was always my go-to thing, and the college was quite near my home. It is also one of the top colleges in the North. The college organizes the second-largest cultural fest in the North and also provides scholarships based on different criteria like academic excellence and sports. They are slowly removing some unnecessary subjects like Chemistry from branches like CS and IT.

NIT KKR: The worst nightmare
Placements: Although placements are usually good, many companies only occasionally offer 4 LPA due to the non-profit nature of the industry. Only 64% of the students placed here last year received a placement, and the highest package goes up to 40 LPA, which is not good, and the lowest is only 3.2 LPA. Annually, fewer companies arrive and provide fewer services.
Infrastructure: The number of courses offered has been rising annually, and some courses have very few or no teachers. The infrastructure is also poor because many of the buildings have not been renovated in decades. The hostel facilities are the worst. At hostels, there is no hygiene and cleanliness.
Faculty: The only teacher we have is V.P. Singh, the future director of our college. He gives us instructions, but when it comes to homework, he says he will only accept the first five submissions before letting the others finish it. And when it comes to exams, then they take exams every month named as mid-sem, they take two mid-sems.
Other: I guess there is this one time when a girl student got molested or raped, and the college didn’t care about the mental stress of the student; they just cared about suppressing the matter and did it very effectively.

Excellent placement chance.
Placements: In civil engineering course, around 23% of students got placed in public domain. In civil engineering course, the highest salary package offered is 40 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Around 50% of students got internships. Many students get role as HR of a company.
Infrastructure: The college has best infrastructure. We also have gym, swimming pool, library, and many lakes. The food quality is good like home. It also has many canteens for boys and girls late at night. There is one hotspot for boys hostel.
Faculty: There are three exams in the semester. Two exams of mid-semester 20 to 20 numbers. Final exam is for 50 numbers and 10 numbers from teachers for students' behaviour in the classroom. There are also practice subjects that have credit for each subject and weightage. Faculty members are best for all courses.
Other: My father gave me advice to get a government job. Our college provides many oppertunities and good hostel life. Many events are conducted like Confluence, Uttkarsh, and Techspradh (technical event). There are many societies like Anamika, SAE, NCC, NSS, LSD, Shiksha, Ruhha, etc.

Good overall. You can take it.
Placements: My course is the Internet of Things (IoT), which comes under the ECE department. It might be very trendy and demanding in the future, but in recent days, due to the recession, students are facing many problems in getting placed. Very few students are placed, and high-paying companies are not visiting for campus placement. So, average placements are about 10-12 LPA only. The highest is 60 LPA something. It won't be the same in the future, although students are working hard to overcome this recession. Companies like Microsoft, Wipro, etc. have given internships to 40% of students.
Infrastructure: NIT Kurukshetra is really beautiful. So much greenery, you'll love this. We have one cafe called Moxie where you can get everything. We have a market area where there is a confectionery shop and other grocery shops, a cafe, a stationary shop, a photocopy shop, a salon, and everything.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, but somewhere you can't be completely dependent on them. Most of the time, you have to do it by yourself. Semester exams are not that difficult; if you'll work hard, then you can easily pass. Passing marks in the end-semester exam out of 50 is 23, and we have two mid-semester exams for which you have to get 15 marks out of 30 to pass. Mine is IoT, which is really interesting, and there are good professors for this course.
Other: Mine is a hybrid of Electronics and Computer Science, so I found this interesting and something that has more scope. IoT is considered in the department of Electronics, but according to me, it's more a part of CS, so that's something I didn't find good. Many scholarships are provided to the students who need them. Campus life is amazing. It's more like a village than a city. You have Kurukshetra Railway Junction in 7 km and Delhi about 300 km to access the flights. And we have cultural fests and technical fests that are really amazing.

NIT Kurukshetra: Fairly explained.
Placements: About 49% students were placed this year in mechanical engineering department of NIT kurukshetra. The highest package was 61 LPA, the lowest was 4 LPA, and the average package was 8 LPA this year. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Siemens, and LnT are the top recruiting companies. These companies also provide stipends for internships. top roles offered were software development, machines design, electrical engineering, etc.
Infrastructure: All classrooms here in NIT Kurukshetra have smartboards and projectors. Teachers use them for better concept teaching. Our college has good infrastructure. All classrooms are fully equipped with modern facilities. All hostel rooms are in good condition. Each room is provided with a table, a fan, an almirah, and a bed. All rooms have LAN facilities. And are provided with an attached personal balcony.
Faculty: All the faculty members are helpful here. They are well qualified and knowledgeable. But the use of an of an old-fashioned teaching style, which sometimes seems quite boring,. The course curriculum is moderately relevant. It includes thermodynamic machine design, kinetics of materials, and fluid mechanics, which helps a lot in understanding the mechanical applications. But it also has some topics that are irrelevant and outdated, like old engines. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate. One can easily memorize the syllabus of a subject in 3–4 days. The passing percentage here is 40%. .
Other: NIT kurukshetra has its own name. It is a brand. It has a strong and active alumni network, which helps the current students by providing mentorship. This course can be better if all the irrelevant topics were removed. And it should increase the focus on practical applications. Events here are amazing. NIT kurukshetra hosts many events, like cultural fests: confluence and utsav, technical fests techspradha, and sports fests CITUS. Our campus has a lot of greenery. It is located outside of the main city kurukshetra.
