The GATE 2026 registrations are now over for admission to ME/MTech courses. The GATE 2026 exam will be conducted on Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.
A few more updates are given below:
- The JEE Main 2026 registration process for IIT Indore admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses is expected to start from Oct 2025 onwards. For session 1, the JEE Main 2026 exam will tentatively be conducted between Jan 21 and Jan 30, 2026.
- The IIT JAM 2026 exam date for the MSc course is Feb 15, 2026.

No, candidates cannot join IIT Indore without taking an entrance exam. Admission to UG/PG courses at IIT Indore is based on national level entrance exams such as JEE MAIN, JEE Advanced, GATE. For BTech, admission is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced, followed by counselling process. The minimum eligibility for admission at IITI is passing Class 12 with at least 75% aggregate marks.
