Absolutely satisfied with the academics.
Placements: Our college does not give placement to students. It provides good training and learning practises for students accomplishment of their goals and also provides more efficient study materials for easy learning. It is the primary way or path to a good placement.
Infrastructure: My college has everything; it is spotless and clean. The best and better canteen foods are available, and classrooms are well furnished. Wi-fi is not allowed; savvy sheets are accessible, but not in each class. The college atmosphere is amazing. There are no remarks from faculty members.
Faculty: When it comes to academics, I study B.Com. cooperation, as I am very interested in studying this business field. I study in semesters; three semesters are six weeks long. The pass percentage is 23 out of 80. Faculty members were just amazing because the way they teach is just fabulous.
Other: Wonderful experience for me. The best memories ever are good friendships and teacher-student relationships.

I am somewhat satisfied with the course and college.
Placements: This was a private study or distance education programme so there won't be any campus selection. So finding a job or a recruiting company stays on your own hands. The job roles for this particular course were accountant, assistant accountant, bookkeeping, etc. The salary package offered will be very low. Try to keep this as just a backing degree and use this for better and core courses that helps you in your favours.
Infrastructure: You get an amazing library and sports ground. The hostel facility is good. The stay can also be found on PGs or self-rental homes. But I would suggest a hostel cause it is amazing to have a hostel life. You will have to find a hostel or PG that suits your needs and facilities.
Faculty: In our college, faculty members were good. The curriculum is the same for the past I don't know but a very old curriculum. Nothing new or useful for the current job and tech facility. The exams were quite nice. But supplementary exams were made very difficult than the regular exam. Don't exactly know how that makes sense.
Other: There will be youth festivals in which you can take part. The course was good but as mentioned above, it is not so good for current opportunity.

My brief review on University of Kerala School of Distance Education, Karyavattom.
Placements: Actually, the college does not directly provide placements to students. Instead, it focuses on offering excellent training and learning practices to help students accomplish their goals. It provides good study materials and resources to support students in their academic endeavors. The primary pathway to securing a good placement is by passing with a good percentage, which enhances our chances of landing a good job in this field.
Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with facilities and offers almost everything students need. The canteen provides good food and is clean and tidy. The classrooms are well-furnished, creating a conducive learning environment. While Wi-Fi is not allowed, the college atmosphere is great, making it enjoyable for students.
Faculty: I studied B.Com Operations and I'm interested in studying in the business field. My program is semester-based, with a total of 6 semesters. The faculty members are highly experienced individuals who are supportive and encouraging to us. They clear all our doubts and provide valuable guidance throughout our academic journey.
Other: It was a wonderful experience in my life. I learned many things there. The memories with my friends and teachers are always in my mind.

Review of School of Distance Education, University of Kerala.
Placements: So far, I haven't received any internship, but our seniors have done an internship in companies at Technopark. Stipend offered is minimal. When I look at the work culture, the companies that visit are mainly from Technopark and also often include Infosys and UST Global.
Infrastructure: College provides good research facilities. Actually have some advanced research industry instruments like XRD, UV visible spectrometer, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are nice and cooperative. It is a bit awkward to be studying drag and drop features in a syllabus. The course curriculum is a bit obsolete as the syllabus is based on the 2013 scheme. The computer subjects still teach students programming based on Windows 95. Teachers are not mature enough.

Good Syllabus and Atmosphere.
Placements: Many students joined the same year I enrolled. I opted for B.Com. through distance education, and there were approximately 2.5–3k students. The course fees are comparatively low, and around 70% of students secured internships. Opportunities in roles such as finance officer and accountant are available.
Infrastructure: As I pursued my course through distance education, I wasn't well informed about the classrooms, libraries, labs, and other facilities. However, I believe they are well-maintained. Hostel facilities are available, ensuring sports security. The provision of games is a positive aspect, and overall, I felt good about it.
Faculty: The teaching is of good quality, with online classes provided, and the teachers are helpful and responsive. Semester classes and exams offer flexibility. The pass percentage is around 65-70%, which I consider satisfactory. Overall, it's a nice learning experience.
Other: I chose this course alongside ACCA to attain graduation with a professional qualification, aiming to pursue an MBA. The study process is easy, and the syllabus is good, although there's room for improvement in study contents. The university conducts festivals and programs, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
