Quite good. The college has good placement records and teaching facilities.
Placements: The placement are quite good in the college. Specially compared to other colleges it's quite good. There are various companies which do visit the college for recruiting the students. The placement is specially very good for marketing socialization students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not very good. It's is the only thing of which students do complaint about. The college has very small ground which is used for parking. There is no big campus of the college. The college also does not provide any hostel facilities.
Faculty: The course curriculum specially for post graduation course is very well designed. It covers all the subject related to there specialisation. There are two types of facilities the one which are very good and supportive and other are not that much good in teaching.

A great college for master degree.
Placements: Many companies conduct the placement drives in the college. 100% placement was recorded last year and this year too. Companies like Tata, Audi, ICICI, HDFC, HDB, Axis, IDBI, Nestle, Cadbury, Coffee Day and many more top MNCs come for placements. It's also a great moment of being a part of placement committee.
Infrastructure: The college has a Wi-Fi enabled campus, A/C classrooms, library, computer lab, good admin staff and support, sports, and other programs like sports, spectrum, horizon, fresher and farewell parties, internship drive, placement drive, a canteen where fresh, healthy and hygienic food is available.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced. All the faculty members have their own method of teaching, but they have the best one by which student can grab knowledge easily. The course curriculum is the latest updated one. It includes practical knowledge too with the help of project presentation and internship.

Good college for practical knowledge of MBA
Placements: Placements for the PG programme are quite good. Reputed companies like Asian Paints, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Housing Finance First and Radio Mirchi visit for the marketing profile. For finance, local companies like Mansukh Securities, S&P Global, etc visited. The average package one gets after post graduation from Som-Lalit varies between 3-4 lakhs. They give a push to the starting phase of your career.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Som-Lalit is kind of poor. At a first glance, it seems like a corporate building, but there is a whole different world inside. It lacks in the basic infrastructure like a water facility. The classrooms have a decent temperature but the seating arrangement needs to be improved.
Faculty: The faculty team of postgraduation here is awesome. They are full of industry knowledge and experience, and they are eager to share it. The course curriculum covers all the industry knowledge which we can apply practically. The major benefit of the postgraduation curriculum is that it is always modified by mentors as per need; like digital marketing which was added to our curriculum.

Satisfied because of the faculty and placements.
Placements: The placements for our batch as of now is going strong. We had started the process pre-diwali vacation. So far 20 students have got placed from both campus placement and through reference as well. Till date, the highest package is 6 LPA, and I am not aware of the lowest package. The companies visited till now are mainly from FMCG sector.
Infrastructure: I am not happy with my institute's infrastructure, as it is not at all spacious. It feels more like a school rather than a management institute. We are provided with the basic facilities like a projector, A/C, library and Wi-Fi, but the quality is not that remarkable.
Faculty: Few faculty members are helpful and qualified enough to facilitate us with a PGDM course. As compared to an MBA course, PGDM was really practical enough for us to get industry exposure. The presentations and projects helped us to get an insight into the practical knowledge, and also we are now more comfortable with the presentations as compared to the time when we just started this course.

Not worth it because after wasting two years, you get nothing out of it.
Placements:
The placements are not satisfactory. If you have a good working experience, then it's good. But, for a fresher, it won't be easy to fetch a good job. The college does not offer internships. You have to search jobs by yourself. Only 3% to 4% of the students got placement from college.
Infrastructure:
The classroom and infrastructure facilities are also average due to lack of facilities. The food in the canteen is below average. There are no other activities to participate. Infrastructure is not at all good in our college.
Faculty: The faculty members are excellent. They use advanced methods to teach. They provide us with the right guidance. They are highly qualified, and they are easy going. The projects are mostly copy-pasted, which is a disadvantage for learning students.
Other: I would recommend not to take admission in this college. It is better to do any other course from AMA. This course is a waste of time and energy, and there is too much of work pressure that is worthless during your placements, and the placements are not satisfying. So better to give time to other things or by joining other courses that are available in Ahmedabad management association.
