  • In this session, you will first understand the concept of Recursion
  • You will also understand what are the different steps involved in recursion and one by one we will understand them
  • Then you will also learn about different types of recursion starting with Tail and Non-Tail recursion
  • Then we will talk about two simple examples and understand the concept of activation records and how recursion internally uses a stack data structure
  • Finally we will understand different algorithms which can be solved easily using recursion like traversals ( inorder, preorder and postorder) and try to solve it first using iteration and the recursion and then understand the difference in terms of implementation
