Manage a testing project by implementing the mission, goals and testing processes established for the testing organization

Organize and lead risk identification and risk analysis sessions and use the results of such sessions for test estimation, planning, monitoring and control

Create and implement test plans consistent with organizational policies and test strategies

Continuously monitor and control the test activities to achieve project objectives

Assess and report relevant and timely test status to project stakeholders

Identify skills and resource gaps in their test team and participate in sourcing adequate resources

Identify and plan necessary skills development within their test team

Propose a business case for test activities which outlines the costs and benefits expected

Ensure proper communication within the test team and with other project stakeholders

Participate in and lead test process improvement initiatives

Learning Experience: The Content is broad, there are lot of use cases related learning. The training would require one to go beyond throey and apply the learning in the real time scenerios. The challenges are to find the real time scenerios to test the theoritical areas. The pros is that you learn more about testing in depth but if you don't apply those in real time then only the throey is not going to help. The cons is you hardly see any straight throry questions in exam, it will be mostly on use case basic.

Faculty: I have not taken any lectures, it was all self learning and good experience in this field has helped me understand the use cases better. The resource on ISTQB website is limited but best. I like the way the course is structured and minimized in a way that it does not become too much. you can always find the use cases by going through other sources.

Faculty: faculty was good. teaching techique was good. along with theory material, some sample questions were also covered. Curriculum covers everything about testing. Most of the topics sounds familiar like ISTQB foundation level, but in depth.
