Uttam K. Banerjee is currently a senior Professor in the Department of Architecture & Regional Planning, as well as Joint-Faculty in the RCG School of Infrastructure Design and Management at the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, where he has served as the Head in both the departments from 2004 to 2007 and 2011 to 2014 respectively.

Learning Experience: This course was primarily designed for improving the soft skills for business negotiations and strategic management by IIT kharagpur which was 12 week distant learning course by IIT Kharagpur .
Faculty: The assigned faculty for the course had a great exposure with corporates so the y can relate the whole course to the industries who are demanding this skills. The sessions were interactive and the queries was also timely resolved by the faculties over an email in case of any doubts or difficulties . The course combined of Video lectures on the NPTEL Portal which was assigned weekly basis . After every lecture there was assignments which has to be completed on weekly basis. The final score is combination of 25 % internal assignments and 75 % of final examination which gives you final score and the applicable badge .
