    Q:   Are there other criteria to fulfil when the candidate does not acquire 70% marks in IWCF exams?

    A: 

    IWCF states different criteria for exam resits. 

    1. 66-69%: Instant resit available on the same day or within 90 days.

    2. 65% or below: Must attend further training and resit within 90 days.

    The paper assessments of the resits will be subject to availability.

    A: 

    To pass the IWCF exams, candidates must complete required training periods (online or offline), prepare for written and practical assessments with MCQs, sit for exams at accredited centres, and score at least 70% marks. For all levels, the passing percentage is 70%, along with the required training hours.

    A: 

    Both exist in the oil and gas industry but differ in the following ways. 

    1. IADC, or International Association of Drilling Contractors, is a global trade association for drilling contractors, offering advocacy, research, and technical services. 

    2. IWCF offers well control training and certifications that are standardised the world over.

    Q:   Do IWCF certifications have any validity period?

    A: 

    IWCF’s Level 1 and Well Operations Crew Resource Management certifications do not have any expiry date. The Level 2 certificate is valid for five years. On the other hand, certificates for levels 3 and 4 are valid for two years. Again, the Level 5 certificate is valid for five years.
